After almost three weeks of "speculation", yelling, more speculation, more yelling, and even more speculation.

What do you think is gonna happen ? I am actuallly starting to believe the indoctrination theory myself because it seems to be the only sensible option at this point.

Anything less than that and all this would in my opinion be for nothing because looking at the endings as they are now, it seems almost impossible to add something small that would please anybody.

The indoctrination theory makes more and more sense everyday because adding it would not mess up the endings for people who liked them and it would provide a proper continuation and the ending that I think many of us want.

Bioware is gonna be in serious trouble if they don´t do this right and throwing in an epilouge at this point would not please anybody.

But if Bioware really has an ace up their sleeve and annouces that the indoctrination theory was all true and that it will released in let´s say two months what would your reaction be angry or relieved ?

"These are our endings. Deal with it."

Months later.

"Why isn't our DLC content selling?"

I hope they will step up to the plate, swallow their pride and deliver. However, the cynic in me tells me that this is not going to happen.

Definitely something spectaclar, maybe.

I'm still hoping for the IT, but I'm trying to be open minded. Really hard tho.

What I want: A promise to provide a tangible change to the ending

What I would hate: Complete denial of our petitioning

What will probably happen: More sidestepping.

I expect a better explained but not changed ending, and lots of multiplayer stuff.
There will be blood.

"We've decided to add a costume pack, you can all now look like clowns"

I doubt that's the case but gearing myself for the worst means I can only be happily surprised.

Disappointment dealt with by wine

Depression dealt with by an additional Woodchuck Hard Cider

and then followed by saying "Screw it" which requires an obligatory cigar to get over.

---

That's what I expect to happen.

"Yes, the ending sequence actually IS indoctrination. Very clever of us, no? We've actually been working on this for the past two years... but.. uh.. you gotta wait a bit before we release it."

I will laugh so hard.

My optimistic side: "We're currently working on an expansion to ME3, picking up right where you left off at the end!"

My pessimistic side: "We'll be releasing some DLC in the near future that fully explains what happens during each ending, filling all plot holes."

here is a 30 second black screen with white words telling you who lives/dies. A codex entry explaining space magic and the extended dialog w/ anderson.

$5 please

I believe that they may actually announce a DLC to correct the ending of Mass Effect 3, though I think they will be vague on whether it will provide new endings, add more of an epilogue to the current endings, or expand the endings (maybe adopt the indoctrination theory or give Shepard a chance to reason with Starchild).

I expect to be disappointed. I also expect, though, that I won't be purchasing anything until I see it on YouTube, so at least I won't be paying someone money to disappoint me this time.

Hopefully they are planning it out properly now. I'm hoping they'll do the best possible within a reasonable time limit and budget. Fearing they'll just paste back in the cut dialogue and add a picture epilogue. Worst case scenario they wont even tell us what they're doing, but that they are "working on it".

I'm not willing to write off BioWare yet.

The ME3 press isn't going anyway anytime soon, and most of it is negative at this point.

I'm thinking that they either have something planned, or they'll give us a fix.
