LOL I don't have expectations for things, I usually get disappointed. But I am looking forward to what ever they have to say.

Abysmal.

I think they'll alter the ending and make it worse. They seem to be going headfirst into taking a problem that needs badly fixed and repairing it by compounding the original errors.

Complete and total silence.

That way I figure, I'll probably not be disappointed too much.

If we could get a pink ending, I'd be thrilled. Or maybe purple. I think the whole red, green or blue thing is just cliche. Even a grey ending could be cool.

Expectation? Slightly more wordy current ending.
Hope? Something amazing.

The latest tweet going around the forums doesn't make me very hopeful, though. Work said I'm going to be doing a lot of manual labor tomorrow. I'm glad. Means I've got something else to focus on.

"Everything will be explained in Mass Effect 4 which was already premade and ready for release. Mass Effect 4 will in fact wrap up Commander Shepard's story" I'd hate to see the reaction to that one though I know they won't say that.

Assuming the current end scene is Shepard's final battle against Indoctrination:

Best case -- the battle for Earth isn't finished yet. So Shepard wakes up on the battlefield, the fight is still going on. (He may have been unconscious for only a few minutes for all we know.) The real end battle takes place, with Shepard and his squad rallying with the combined forces of the galaxy to end the Reapers. This includes more gameplay, more conversations, more narrative cutscenes, and a real ending.

Worst case -- Shepard wakes up from his inner Indoctrination battle, and is picked up by his squad. He's told what has happened while he was out -- all narrative, no gameplay. Anderson or that other new Wonder Soldier guy who showed up at the end or Conrad Verner or whoever went up into the Citadel and fixed everything, all the squad members had their own adventures (with success for each perhaps being dependent on certain in-game factors), and as he heals in his hospital bed all this is explained to him by whoever Bioware decided they'd pay to come in a do a little more voice work.

This one can't say. Just hopes, that they will be changing the endings based on fan feedback. Who knows what will happen. Just gotta wait and see.

My hope is for some official word at PAX as to what their plan is regarding the ending. If that tweet ends up being true then my hope will be that the “clarification” is amazing.

We get no closure, but a useless DLC that will probably run you 10-20 bucks.

Lol.

Im realy hoping it's not just text explaining what we can already obviously see. That would just be insulting.

The fact that they said that they are working on the ending clarification alongside other DLC has me worried beyond belief though.

I think we will get Take Back Omega paid DLC on April alongside information regarding when they will launch the Ending DLC, which will be free unless they want to commit commercial suicide.

Given that the Ending DLC is going to be more of the same schlock we've already got, I don't think it matters whether it's free or not.

Whatever happens it is important time for BioWare. Give too little and lose part of your fanbase or give in too much and the rest of the gaming industry has a bone to pick with you.

What I would like to see is indoc theory used.
What I think we will get is a patch that fleshes out the ending a little. My guess is this will be free because no campaign will be added.

I expect in April... to start forgetting about Mass Effect.  I loved 1 & 2, but three was such a rush job with an insulting ending tacked on.

I expect to be laughing at whatever price they put on a real ending.

I'm expecting one REALLY ****ING FUNNY April Fools joke that Bioware decided they'd pull on everyone. Not even EA knows about it.

I'd actually prefer it to have a price tag so it looks like they put effort into it.

Plus if they totally fail for the second time charging for a crappy ending that should have been in the game to begin with will be the death of bioware meaning they won't take Peter Molyneux off his throne of lies and broken promises.

This might be the depression talking....but I am thinking my expectations are along the line of...'Crushing whatever hope I had to play Mass Effect ever again.' .... also 'Or ever buy any DLC for it...buying Ashes was a mistake.'
