So what are your expectations for April ?

I'm interested in seeing how they do at PAX as well. I'd prefer they stand their ground, but I understand that millions of dollars are at stake, so I expect a lot of bending.

This might be the depression talking....but I am thinking my expectations are along the line of...'Crushing whatever hope I had to play Mass Effect ever again.' .... also 'Or ever buy any DLC for it...buying Ashes was a mistake.'
I haven't bought any of the DLC's for ME1 or ME2. I was seriously considering purchasing all of them and getting the opportunity to have the entire mass effect experience. I'll wait till their PAX announcement, if whatever fix they have for the ending is acceptable to me, then I'm buying me some DLC. If not, to hell with them.

Even if they announce a fix, don't buy/do anything yet. Cause let's face it...the ads for Mass Effect 3 made it seem like we were actually going to get an ending that changed based on the actions we did in the previous games...that we would get a variety of endings...instead, we didn't.
So all in all...for now, don't trust anything BioWare says...especially if it sounds like PR-jumbo. Wait until they release the actual proof.
Also, I think there's going to be so much fan outrage at PAX that I'm not even sure how BioWare will be able to handle itself.

But as you said, if Bioware doesn't do this right at this point, there will be serious damage.
I'm not sure going with the indoctrination theory is the way to do it, but I wouldn't personaly mind it.
I do believe that they will take the feedback under consideration.
That said, we don't know what kind of material they already have that they just didn't use, like those audio files of Jocker and Anderson. Perhaps they can do wonders with these, who knows?

By then, most players will realize that:
a) they will never get what they want
c) by April it will be too late for most customers to return their games and they will have to keep them
This is going to be comedy GOLD...

I'm expecting the minimum, because that's apparently what they are doing with their future content, and then defending them with the "artistic integrity" bullcrap.
This, but I'm hoping that I'm wrong. I'll stick around until April to find out.
Hold the line.

I honestly expect that in April they'll say they've decided to do an Epilogue Patch... that will take them 6 months to make and test...
If they do that plus an option for a happy ending (at least give me that, 6 months is a long time), I will forgive Bioware and erase one X mark (they're on Strike 3 atm). I'm willing to wait, I just really hope they make good on their promise.

our endings are what they are, here is just so more clarification on them
here is a 30 second black screen with white words telling you who lives/dies. A codex entry explaining space magic and the extended dialog w/ anderson.
$5 please
$10, you hurt my feelings
