Well I expect nothing at this point after all the PR statements that said nothingm the fact that we had to declare war against Bioware for them see how badly written the endings are.

I am gonna remain carefully optimistic but if there is no news at pax or even two weeks after pax then I am done with this fracking thing.

I have zero expections. I am waiting and will evaluate what is released. If it makes me want to play through again great, If not I will move on to another game.

Here is the thing, they can have whatever "artistic vision" they like. If it doesn't inspire or move me, then I don't buy it. Simple as that.

I swear they've already announced several times that there will be a "clarification" but no changes.

Kinda makes me wonder why they bother... clearly a halfway house will do nothing to please the fans.

What I want to happen:
More instances of war assets being shown doing stuff.
A way to beat the reapers conventionally
No space elevator, star child or RGB dumbness

What I expect to happen:
Extra dialogue with star kid
All my Bioware games go to Gamestop

Casey Hudson: We have multiplayer DLC, and additional squad mates! We have some story missions in between Mass Effect 3 because we for some reason could find the time to finish it on time! So were charging you for that!

In all honesty, i think they will just add on to it. And use indoctrition theory. So we see the story continue as shepard wakes up.


Their reasoning would be, we wanted to create theories, and give players more mystery, so we created a 2 fake endings, and the ones who picked the real endings can continue!

As I said in another thread, if Bioware decides to give us some ending patch/DLC, overall an epilogue is a good idea, but I hope there will be a little bit more than just an epilogue.

At least I would like to see:

- removed content/dialogue restored and re-added to the game (extended Shepard/Anderson scene on Citadel, Joker dialogue during battle, etc.)

- more explaining dialogue and options during starchild scene/final decison

- at least one additional ending, in which the Mass Relays are not destroyed

- explaning epilogue cutsene, telling what will happen to my squadmates & the galaxy

I think it would be a fullfilling ending if the indoctrination theory is right, however i would still feel empty if my choices in ME 1, 2 and 3 are not taken into account. It was the really big issue with it. And why was the rachni only left to be a little war asset?

If they release DLC that will keep the current ending, just with an epilogue giving "closure" I will not buy it. Or any dlc for mass effect.

I don't want closure (well, I do, that is just besides the point)! I want an ending that makes sense and takes my choices into consideration.

There was a patch for Skyrim? What does it do?

Adds kill cams for ranged attacks (both archery and magic) and a bunch of new finishing animations, including melee attacks.

It's out now for PC and should be within the next week for Xbox and PS3.

Anything less than that and all this would in my opinion be for nothing because looking at the endings as they are now, it seems almost impossible to add something small that would please anybody.

The indoctrination theory makes more and more sense everyday because adding it would not mess up the endings for people who liked them and it would provide a proper continuation and the ending that I think many of us want.

Bioware is gonna be in serious trouble if they don´t do this right and throwing in an epilouge at this point would not please anybody.

But if Bioware really has an ace up their sleeve and annouces that the indoctrination theory was all true and that it will released in let´s say two months what would your reaction be angry or relieved ?

I'm waiting for perfect ending DLC announcement.

At best, an expansion pack starting with more forfilling ends and use that as a new entry to a new story.
At worst, deal with the endings and some explanatory dlc.

If they release a PROPER dlc ending which adresses all the needs the fans have been asking for (not what they interpret it to be) then I will be anixous until that release date, because THAT'S when mass effect will truely come out for me, and I can replay the entire series again.
