They likely were working on DLC prior to the uprising so they will announce that and I think they will announce a 2nd DLC to be released later that clarifies the ending and adds greater closure, just as they've said they are going to do. Then folks can riot again.

Expectations? "Here's some more plotholes and speculation for you guys, instead of the answers you've been asking for."

Hope? "LOL YOU GUYS TOTALLY FELL FOR IT HERE IS THE REAL ENDING IN DLC FORMAT THAT'LL BE $9.99"

And I'd buy it...

Expecting more PR BS and sidestepping, but hoping for an announcement of a DLC or expansion ending that will correct the grievous errors in their original product. I would pay for it, grudgingly.

You mean those flowers with circuitry in them?
Oh wait that was a nightmare I had a while ago, sorry. ;)

If anything, this.

What I would look forward to is a silent audience with the likely omega announcement.

You know, the worst part is that I would too....and I'd hate myself for doing it...

...But then again that might be because I have banked Bioware points.

I am expecting an "Alternate endings" DLC, which would include new endings offering an actual choice, taking into accounts the choices made through the game, giving closure and resolving plotholes instead of creating them.

Is not that what you would expect from an ending ?

Always expect the worst. Then there is still the possibility to be positively surprised ;)

I expect that they will tack on some narrated exposition as a postscript to the existing ending without meaningfully addressing any of the real problems, just so they can claim that they responded to their fans.

Judging by the way people in the forums swoon every time a Bioware employee casts a gaze their way, it will probably work, too. Personally, I won't be wasting my time on any "content" that doesn't add a larger range of options to the ending.

I have no idea what to expect really , i hope they will take there time
and and i prefer it not to be free iam sure ile get lots of wtf about that
but thats just my opinion.

Wost case scenario , so rushed together content that try's to do a failed attempt in
explaining godchilds bs etcetera , sure its explenation but it still sucks.

Anyways will have to wait and see personally i hope bioware shuts all of us up :P
in a positive way.

If they announce that the intention was selling the ending as a separate DLC from the beginning, thar DLC would be the last time I give my money to both EA and Bioware. And only after checking the forums to see if it's worthwile.

I expect to be extremely disappointed.

To fix it they should learn from their mistakes, and to learn from their mistakes they need to acknowledge that there is a mistake in the first place.

I had very low expectations for RE:ORC, and because of that, it turned out to be pretty fun.

I had enormously high expectations for ME3 and the ending made me feel like someone had just run over my dog.

So, no expectations here. I'll be cynical and wait to be pleasantly surprised.

1) After reading feedback, we have realized that one of the big complaints given by our fans is that the military supplies do little to affect the endgame. Therefore, we have decided to introduce Omega DLC which will provide even more military supplies to the player. This should fix that issue.

2) We have decided to release an addition to the end that will, hopefully, clarify things for the player.

*ten bucks and a download later*
*Stargazer scene*
*F**K YOU! flashes on screen*

That's what it feels like already. I have lost all hope that Bioware cares about anything but themselves.

I expect to come home on April 6th, and find that they are going to 'explain the ending' and give us a DA:O stlye epilogue. At which point I'll be logging onto Origin to get a refund.

I expect to be disappointed because there's a sudden mass influx of people that haven't played the game trying to convince Bioware not to change anything because of "artistic integrity" and all that. I fear they will be successful in letting Bioware believe their ending was a fitting end after all.

Based on what they have said I am expecting disappointment, followed by renewed anger, followed by the final severing of trust.

I really hope i am wrong. I really doubt that I am.

After almost three weeks of "speculation", yelling, more speculation, more yelling, and even more speculation.

What do you think is gonna happen ? I am actuallly starting to believe the indoctrination theory myself because it seems to be the only sensible option at this point.

Anything less than that and all this would in my opinion be for nothing because looking at the endings as they are now, it seems almost impossible to add something small that would please anybody.

The indoctrination theory makes more and more sense everyday because adding it would not mess up the endings for people who liked them and it would provide a proper continuation and the ending that I think many of us want.

Bioware is gonna be in serious trouble if they don´t do this right and throwing in an epilouge at this point would not please anybody.

But if Bioware really has an ace up their sleeve and annouces that the indoctrination theory was all true and that it will released in let´s say two months what would your reaction be angry or relieved ?

I'm hoping for something impressive -- a proper ending to ME in the spirit of ME1 and ME2.

Don't care if it is a revised/expanded current ending or Indoctrination or something else.

I expect a lot of industry heavy hitters waiting in the wings at BWs forum at Pax East with giant bags of popcorn and PAs taking notes. They are probably more interested in seeing how this plays out than we are.
