Geth. The Quarians started a war only because they thought they can win it. They wanted this. The Geth didn't. For me the Quarians are the aggressors. The Geth act in self defense. So the Geth it is.

Geth, even though I love Tali, the Quarians as a hole are a-holes. They continued to act like a-holes even at the climax on Rannoch. The Geth didn't do anything wrong, and were only acting in self defense. Quarians should have a suaght a peacful resolution before going to war.

If only Han Gerrel and the other war-hungry quarians were alive, I'd surely choose the geth to survive.
Han Gerrel and Xen only with the fleet behind them would have meant no more quarians.

But with Tali and the civilian fleet, I couldn't really say.

Putting my Bias toward Quarians and Tali aside.

I'd still pick the Quarians.
Even if they have evolved, The Geth are still just machines, they are not living creatures,
Even if Han'Gerrel is a moron, you can't judge an entire species based on a few bad apples.
Just like how you "Can't condemn an entire race to extintsion based on what might happen, a'la Krogan"

That's been the whole underlying argument of the series apparentley, Organic vs Synthetic.

I can't justify killing either of them so i'll go with the Quarians just because of Tali.

Quarians. I don't want to kill children, and civilians, just because their leaders forced them into going ahead into a suicidal war. I like the geth, they are one of my favorite race. But there you go.

And this is why this question is so interesting to me.

If a race doesn't resemble our own, organics have children, do they automatically get knocked down a notch.  Are we more likely to make that rationalization. The Geth are anthropomorphic, but they are still sufficiently different that we draw those differences along broad lines.

Geth, despite the many problems they can cause the Quarians are more dangerous in the long run.

Besides the Quarians deserve it, It's not Han"Gerrel that made the decision ultimately, it was the Conclave which voted and agreed to go to war.

Quarians, easy. Besdies the fact that the Geth have proven very, very...agreeable to Reaper ideology, I simply don't consider them alive.

Geth. The quariens started this crap and they don't learn from their mistakes then when the reapers attack they stupidly start a war with the geth. Cali Shepard my first ME3 and almost my last shep was not an import but a pure ME3 shep with numerous casualties. She saved the Geth because she felt the quarians had started this war and in the end the geth seemed to be in better shape fleet wise for the war, so she sacrificed the quarians because they had already lost a chunk of their fleet in the battle with the geth and were losing while the geth were winning.

Quarians, if only because of Tali. I liked Legion, a lot, but I still prefer Tali.

Quarians. The Geth committed genocide three hundred years ago, killing BILLIONS of Quarians. The fact that the Quarians are ready to forgive them is amazing, it truly confirms my thoughts of how amazing they are.

Oh yeah, Tali is my LI. Most awesome character in the game if you ask me. Couldn't let her down.

Geth. the quarians were definitely at fault.

Not only were they at fault, they were getting their ass kicked in the battle you were listening to. If purely as a tactical advantage, go with the winner, the Geth.

From what I saw. The geth were losing so bad they had to abandon their ideals and side with the Reapers for help.

Also, I would have probably been a lot more sympathic towards the geth if Legion wasn't constantly being shady as hell. Legion, you were supposed to be my bud? Why are you lying to me about all this Reaper code stuff?

Usually i'd side with organic over machines, but as some other posters have said, the Quarians did wrong the Geth, they started the war and the Geth defended themselves. When the Quarians departed Rannoch, the Geth didn't pursue them. When a creation goes wrong, it's never logical to blame the creation, the blame simply must lie with the beings that created it.

Quite a tough question. I'm happy that the game made resolving the conflict an option.

Geth. I love Tali to pieces. But the crimes of the quarians against the Geth are inexusable.

The Geth seem to be peaceable, very useful (they like to help), and the least short sighted between the two. Logic tells me to go with the Geth, emotion wants me to go with the Quarians, probably because I'm biased b/c I'm an organic, too. Not all the Quarians were pro-war, either. Try to remember that.

This is all pointless, though, because in my game I convinced the Quarians to stop being stupid and making the Geth act in self defense.

Geth I reckon

Kinda hard to side with the Quarians when they're always the aggressors. Not to mention Gerrel was happy to order the attack the Dreadnought with Tali and Shep still aboard with no qualms at all. Fat chance I'm just letting that slide

Quarians. Organics over Synthetics by default. Plus Tali.
