Geth. Better for the Quarians to die quickly than slowly starve to death, or get eaten by Krogan, stranded in a system with no edible food. Or die of disease and famine since their entire leadership is stranded in the Sol system.

At least the Geth have a chance to survive.

Yea, but at the time you had no idea the relays were going to be destroyed.  So, try to remove that knowledge and make or justify a decision without it.

So without knowing the end, Geth or Quarian?

Neither. I don' t think that decision should be made by Shepard. Let them sort that out themselves.

A really tough question as I love both races, made even harder as basically my two favorite characters are Legion or Tali.  I would try to make peace I suppose, but aside from that I don't think it'd be my place.  I'd let them sort it out.

I just can't pick one entire species and wipe out the whole of the other.  Yes the Quarians were the aggressors all this time: you even see them murdering fellow Quarians who tried to protect the Geth in the first place.  But then again Legion was pretty quick to use the Reaper tech after talking about "making their own future" for two whole games, so... tough call.  I wouldn't make it.

Geth, they was ready to stop war but some douchbag general in quarians heavy fleet wasnt smart enough to stop engaging. Its wasnt rly my choice they kill yourselves. I was sorry for Tali but this is what we call evolution weaker/dumber dies

I saved both of them, but if I had to choose...probably the geth, since they were not the aggressors.

It's hard to put the ending out of my mind. It's tainted the rest of the series for me

It's tough, the Quarians are idiots and I really don't like them, but the Geth are software, not hardware, does destroying their ships destroy their servers, or are those on Rannoch? Assuming we're talking total annihilation, I'd begrudgingly choose the Quarians, the Geth have made some poor decisions regarding the reapers in the past.

The flip side could be said about certain groups within the Quarian fleet that took risks with Geth technology.  I would imagine if they found Reaper tech, that some of them may have done the same thing.

Quarians every time. Nothing against the geth, but they value survival at any cost. If they sided en masse with the Reapers to save their skins once (twice if you want to count the heretics), whats to stop them from doing it again if the war effort starts to fail for the organics?

Quarians. They were winning until the Geth got upgrades from the Reapers. The Geth are an enigma for an ally. The Quarians are going to fight Reapers no matter what.

If I HAD to choose, I would pick the Quarians, but only because of Tali and my hope that they have learned their lesson, and that the mistakes of the past won't be repeated.

Secondly and less important (morally) the Geth could be reprogrammed by the reapers again in a worst case scenario.

I would choose the Geth. I don't see how Quarians weren't at fault

Quarians. I watched both endings on Youtube (did peace on my playthough) and letting the Quarians die.. that's just too sad... personally I can't see how anyone with a heart can see that happen and try to justify it. Sure, Han'Gerrel was a horse's ***, but judging a whole species just from one military figure... that's like saying all Germans will follow in hitler's footsteps.

Oh wait people do that anyway.

Geth x1000000000000000000000000, l loathe the quarians for their stupidity of starting a war in the middle of a reaper invasion, asking for my help during said war, trying to kill me, not even trying for peace with geth before attacking, giving me **** even after me1 & 2

You said it right Ragebourne, and I approve! Plus I feel its so wrong of Tali to want/need Shepherd to cover up her father's mistake in ME2 thus forcing Shepherd to make a heavy decision. It feels just so wrong from ME2 onwards.
