Quarians. Tali is just too likeable.

If I knew that my getting them to make peace would in the end result in their death anyway (chose destruction) I would have just gone with the Quarians and not had them make peace.

I would always pick Quarians. I could never betray Tali or her kind.

I DID have to choose, my Shep didn't have enough rep to be given a "make peace" option or something.

At first I was, "Let Legion do his thing, Tali, call off the attack." and then it was "oh they aren't listening" followed by UTTER TRAGEDY, and me reaching for the power switch.

Meaning, when forced, I chose Quarians. I tried to rationalize the injustice it really meant, since the Geth didn't cause the conflict, but couldn't. I support organic life over synthetic. Sorry, robots.

I love how near genocide is being bandied about as a reason that the Geth were in the wrong. Hate to break it to you guys, but when two species are locked in total war with each other, one side has to lose. And the Geth were more merciful than the Quarians ever would have been.

Geth.

As much as I liked Tali the Geth didn't do anything wrong.

Except, ya know, almost end galactic civilization with Sovereign.

Legion didn't let me use his "hole". Tali did. So it's quarians for me.

Considering my affection for Tali I could not even contemplate choosing the geth. But then I think what was the point of it all when after getting her homeworld back she can never return because of the relays being absurdly destroyed.

*Shrug*

The Quarians did create them... so it's their fault.

Geth. The Quarians would all be dead if the Geth had not let them go even after the Quarians tried to wipe them out.

Even -then- the Quarians attack them again even with the Reaper threat.

The quarians made a mistake by trying to wipe out the quarians. The geth made an even bigger mistake by nearly succeeding in wiping out the quarians.

Present day, the quarians are desperate, their flotilla would've lasted for roughly 100 years max. With the Reapers coming they needed a place for their civilians, so the most logical thing to do is retake Rannoch. People that defend the geth seem to forget that just about nobody aboard the flotilla knows the geth are open to peace negotiations, nor do they know what happened really during the Morning War.

I say it again, both sides made mistakes, neither had the moral highground.

Driving a race to near extinction is not merciful.

Quarians always.

You cannot create organics the same way again. But the Geth, you could create them later.

Plus, Geth are just programs that imitate life. They don't "feel" because we told them what to "feel."

Also, the Quarians never wanted to start a war with the Geth again. But just one stupid admiral decided to attack, so I can forgive the Quarians. Though I might be biased because the Quarians are my favorite race. They have the, "scavenge and use whatever resources available" type deal going on. Which is how I roll.

Now that they are all AI's with Reaper Code, they certainly do feel.

Quarians. Regardless of appearance, Geth are still just synthetics.

Geth x1000000000000000000000000, l loathe the quarians for their stupidity of starting a war in the middle of a reaper invasion, asking for my help during said war, trying to kill me, not even trying for peace with geth before attacking, giving me **** even after me1 & 2, and after I saw the war with the orginal geth, that sealed the deal. I got peace by yelling anyway but still...

As much as I loved Legion in ME2, it would have been Quarians... Until they needlessly started an all out war with the Geth as the Reapers were closing in, against all of my advice and evidence that the geth could be willing to negotiate. Those actions drove the Geth straight back in to the arms of the Reapers and jepordized the rest of the galaxy thanks to their wilful blindness.

Had I been forced to choose, I'd have chosen the Geth over the Quarians at that point... Thankfully I didn't have to as it would have been heartbreaking to lose Tali, but at that point it was plainly obvious that the Quarians weren't willing to listen to reason and were bringing about their own extinction through their own actions and short sightedness
