So if people hate Ashley because they think she's "racist", then why do they like Wrex and Javik?

But I don't hate Ashley for being a bigot(because she is not racist, they are two very different things), I hate her because she's Ashley. Just like I hate Kaidan. Because he's Kaidan.
...Though I do get to shoot her...so I don't hate Ashley at all, because I get to finish the job I started on Virmire. >

And as for liking Javik, well, I don't. Frankly I wanted to shove him out an airlock on more than one occasion. I eventually warmed up to him, but I think I only took him on one mission with me, and that was because that's the only way that you get to hear the conversation between Liara and Jack. I might have brought him on a side mission or two against Cerberus, but that's it, and it's only because there's no actual conversations during those. The rest of the time, I felt sorry for him, but didn't really like him.
And Ash, well, she annoyed me too, but I was ok with her for the most part. She'd pretty much gotten over the racism thing by the end of the first game. For me, it was mostly her distrust of Shepard for working with Cerberus. There were a few times when I wanted to Gibbs-slap her with a 2x4 until I knocked some sense into her. "GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL, I'M NOT WORKING FOR CERBERUS!"

So, someone who believes in a god entirely centered on the Earth being the ONLY important thing in the Universe, is now a realist in a time of space travel and countless other alien races? Are you guys serious? And I am not hating on Religion, I am pointing out that there is absolutely NOTHING "realist" about that.

She doesn't think Earth is the only important thing in the universe. But it should come first.
The other species think the same of their own worlds and people, believe it or not. Shocking, I know.

That's not what I said. I said that god, comes from a book that is built on the fact that the Earth is the only important object in the Universe. If Ashley believes in it, which she does, then she also believes that too. I said that to put into perspective how stupid the term "realist" sounds when attaching it to a person who believes that.
Also the quote you posted just goes to show how little of a realist she is. If she actually thought about it she'd realize that more than 99.999999% of the Entire universe is unlivable and the main source of light on most planets causes cancer, Plus a billion other things that push the idea of an intelligent creator out the window.
Again, she isn't a realist. She's just stuck in her ways.

All you know about her beliefs is that she believes in "God" and she prays. How do you extropolate anything else from those two very broad traits?
Earth is the most important place in teh universe for her because Earth is the human homeworld, it's where most of them live. Including her family, as of ME3.
Ash being a "realist" means she accepts that other races will feel similarly about their own words. Primarch Victus won't budge until Shepard gets krogan help for Palaven. The asari won't chip in until the Reapers are knocking on Thessia's door. Clan Urdnot won't join the coalition until the genophage is cured. the quarians are willing to fight to the death for Rannoch.

Thats human nature and one of the reason racism exist in real life because we have problems people who are "different" from us. May that be because of origin, skin color, behavior or criminal activity.
Im pretty sure everyone of you had a prejudice against someone because of these things, so I find the hate for Ashley pretty ridiculous.
Besides she hates the Terra Firma Party and Cerberus which are both pro-human groups so that should give you the hint that she isnt pure racist.

Then, you have the council races in ME3 saying that they're going to leave the earth to burn because they have their own planets to defend. Because each group will always look for itself first, exactly as Ashley said.

Of course she isn't a pure evil racist. But some of her lines can be construed as racism. I doubt she called Liara a "bug-eyed monster" because she thinks the council would sacrifice Earth to save Thessia or Palaven.

She didn't call Liara a "bug eyed monster" at all, but Ashley did say those words when she first came aboard, after the citadel. The council weren't doing jack all to help. Eden Prime almost became a huge hole in the ground, and they didn't want to help, they didn't want that problem. The humans had to help themselves, find proof, and get them to act... and did they? No, they still threw the problem at the humans: "go solve it yourself, we give you the right."
Besides, does this really matter now? She's matured. Ashley isn't racist in ME3 at all, or was she.

Not sure what the point of this post is. But how am I wrong in what I said? The Universe and the way it works has no room for an "intelligent creator" when the majority of whats in the universe is so violent (supernovae, black holes absorbing entire solar systems, collisions and extinctions, galaxies merging together like the milky way and andromeda in the future will that will cause many solar systems to be launched into the middle of nowhere with no hope of survival, or the fact that the living beings on planets who are so "intelligently" made to gel with their surroundings can be killed by their light source, or go blind by looking at it etc.) Why would an intelligent creator create things like this? Do you see what I am getting at? Believing in an intelligent creator, like Ashley does, is not realistic.
If your going to try to make me look stupid with one sentence, maybe you should post some reasons why I am wrong.

Exactly - she's not racist conciously in any shape or form. But she's woefuly unaware of alien cultures/lifes, unable to view them individually from the start and and just views individual aliens through her opinion of their entire race, and unessecarily petty/****y because of it.

Well, going by her quotes in the game, and how she talks about how everything couldn't have just happened without a god,she obviously believes in the god that created everything, right? So, that rules out the vast majority of gods, and centers on one whether it be one that exists now, or one that exists in the future, it doesn't matter, to her it's and intelligent god. Which makes no sense, becuase nothing about the universe is intelligently made really, watch this video:

2) They need to be meme fodder. I won't even start with Wrex, but I will with Javik, I know of two memes which have been used on a wide number of occasions.
Ashley has none of these, she is essentially the "Not everyone is an SAS commando with witty remarks on everything"-filler that is only there to make all of the remaining characters seem better in some way. In other words, she's basically built from the ground up as a tritagonist, while every other character is a deuteragonist. Kaidan is the same, but the fact that he's an alright guy who has a few stories other than "I believe in the baby Jesus and think we're all about to be screwed over by the aliens" kind of makes up for that area.
Or in short: it's simple, nobody loves Ashley, and those that do are clearly not as numerous or vocal as those who love the other characters.

I guess if you want to look at things in such simple ways you might be right but consider the deeper effects of some of these things. Supernove create many of the heavy elements needed for biochemistry and blackholes hold galaxies together. Galatic mergings fling systems around but how would that affect their survival? Stars dont need other stars around to burn.
Im afraid I dont undersand your sun light argument though. When was the last time someone was killed by sun light? If your talking about skin cancer I guess I can see a small point here but our unnaturaly long life spans thanks to modren medicine are more to blame.
