So if people hate Ashley because they think she's "racist", then why do they like Wrex and Javik?

To be fair, if you cheat on Kaidan, it's with three guys are unilaterally considered to be stand up fellas. Two of the options for cheating on Ash are a **** poured into a jumpsuit (no offence) and a biotic convict (an awesome biotic convict, but still). If it's with Tali she doesn't mind at all. In fact, later in the game, when Tali and Ash meet again, if Shepard's ended it with Ash for good, she'll say that it's good to see Tali again. The two of them only get ****y if you're playing both of them at the same time.
I'll give you Tali. For the other two:
She characterizes Miranda as a **** because of how she dresses, and gives no thought to her other attributes (including, you know, being smart enough to save Shepard's life.) That's the most sexist attitude I would have the misfortune of hearing and would certainly cause my Shepard to not even bother continuing anything serious with her.
Jack I would have agreed with you on, until I met her again at Grissom Academy and realized how much she's grown. However her past may have painted her, she's long since moved beyond that.
Come to think of it, the other two are human. Maybe she feels more threatened since you can't explain it away with "I'm more attracted to aliens" or something. Regardless, my point stands - Kaidan is much more understanding.

It may also have something to do with the fact that Miranda is a Cerberus officer who has been part of the Illusive Man's organisation for over twenty years. I shudder to think about how many people she's killed, how many atrocities she's participated in. I literally have to deny that fact to myself to keep liking her.
Jack gives off an image that's...negative. I love her to bits precisely because her rage is usually so deliberately understated.

Something Ashley does that falls in line with her chracter; either stupid or insubordinate.
She ponts her gun at SHepard because there were Cerberus Asassins on the other side of theat door mere moments ago.
Then she points her gun again at Shepard because he's pointing guns at Udina.
The possibility exists that Shepard might just be an assassin. How likely she thinks that is ay depend on Shepard's attitude, but the chance is there.
She aims her weapon on a friendly before checking her target. What soldier does that?

@ Miranda: So what? Whatever black marks may have been on her record, she saved many more by reviving you. And recall that the head of Lazarus before her actually thought it was impossible; without her opposition to this notion, TIM might have actually given up on you. Or you might have been brought back, but too late to stop the Arrival.
Yeah Ash hasn't committed any atrocities... because she's been a grunt all her life with no power to make the hard choices. That doesn't give her any kind of moral high ground. Some would argue that many of Shepard's choices were themselves "atrocities" e.g. being responsible for the deaths of 300,000 Batarians. Everything sucks out of context.
@Jack: She's gone from being Token Evil Teammate to Mama Bear. I find it hard to approve more.
Now, as I said before, Ashley's not racist (though her line in ME1 about not being able to tell the aliens from the animals was very off-putting - my Paragon Shep would have read her the riot act for that one had I had the chance.) But she's just not relationship material for my Shepards either. Leave her with Vega.

It would be different if she hated the turians her grandfather surrendered to, but she spreads her dislike to all aliens, even if she's more subtle than, say, Pressly.
How many times does this have to keep coming up?
Ash is specifically referring to the Keepers. She can't tell if they're sentient or not. For that matter, neoither can anyone else. The fact that she says it in other places is an acknowledged bug that never got fixed.
Even if you take it out of context, it says a lot about her character and is a damning thing to say.
Aliens =/ just keepers. Otherwise, she would have said just keepers.

No, she wouldn't. She's inexperienced and truly doesn't know what it is. I believe her exact words were: "What is that thing?" when she saw the keeper by the relay.

In a firefight? Every soldier. Shepard didn't yell 'Friendlies coming in!', or 'Ash, watch out, Udina's a traitor!'. He showed up out of nowhere and the first thing he does is block Ashley's escape route. And the first thing Ash does? Lower her weapon, until Udina tries to prompt her to put it back up. Your argument is flimsy.
The bodyguards will aim weapons at other agents if they believe there is significant risk to the President's safety. Ashley's task was to protect the Council at all costs. It doesn't help that Shepard is setting himself up as the bad guy.

And woe betide you if you cheated on her, she gets way more pissy about that than Kaidan does.
No apology on the Citadel.
How many times does someone have to apologize to you before you accept it?
I doublechecked the hospital scene, you are right there is no specific "apology" though there is an agreement to let bygones be bygones and start fresh. In my mind, that's close enough.
And you're right, there's no apology in teh Citadel, it's the love scene I was thinking of "I doubted you once, and I lost you. That's not happening again"

Enough to make me believe it. The fact that she kept questioning my allegiance after that one "apology" was damning.

Let's agree to disagree is no apology. It means "I still believe what I believe, I just don't feel like arguing about it anymore."

Obviously if you've already gotten that far, you didn't care about the milkwater "apologies" she tossed your way before, so that's moot.

Basically most of you guys want these apologies:
I’m sorry I got upset that you cheated.
I’m sorry I didn’t agree to work with a terrorist organization.
I’m sorry I asked a question (personally my favourite).
I’m sorry for my tone when I talk.
I'm sorry I function like a human being.
I’m sorry I had concerns about complete “strangers” coming aboard a classified military ship.
I'm sorry I was born.
