Am I the only one who feels that Bioware is shooting itself in the head right about now? It knows that the vast majority of fans want something different, not more of the Spacebrat. Yet they continue to insist on using that element. Bioware, I don't want to abandon you and look for other companies to invest as much love into, but you are making it difficult to stay loyal to you!

Shooting yourself in the head is the best way to put it. Foot is not strong enough.

If you understand you need to change the ending, I can't understand why you would change it to reinforce the parts people hated.

honestly, not surprised.

there was enough pro-ending people speaking up that I couldn't really see Bioware altering the ending completely.  that'd have just moved from one side of the street to the other without actually getting any closer to the destination.

but, ill give em the benefit of the doubt to see what we get.  the lack of choice never bothered me because i never really treated this as something i was writing, but more along the lines of a choose-your-own-adventure story.

so long as the dlc clears up the absurd plotholes, ill be ok with that.

If it is Indoctrination then the ending doesn't need to be changed. Additional content and clarification is all that is needed to add closure.

I don't really want "clarification" that Shepard was stranded from his crew and LI the rest of his days and was beaten to death by some krogan after the volus and dextro-folk died out.

My first thought was Bioware purposely destroyed ME to keep EA from whoring it out. But now i don't know anymore and i'm leaning towards gross incompetence instead. 

EA ****s everything out, no matter how hard a company can try to ruin their own universe, EA finds a way, they're like the sadistic Shepards of MEU <_< but yeah I had the incompetence idea floating around in my head to.

If Bioware compounds their error, it will be because they were too pretentious about their own failure to correct it.
