Nah I would not like to compromise the "financial integrity" of my wallet which in my books is just as important and valid as Bioware not wanting to compromise their "artistic integrity".

I'll keep saying it - the Star-Child's arguments are nonsensical, sweeping, generalised assumptions.

In otherwords, total bull***t.

So what exactly is worth explaining? No amount of elaboration will make any more sense out of something totally devoid of logic.

That, and we're not given the option to defy or even question them. I never thought I'd say it, but indoctrination theory is actually starting to look better to me - there's no way something this stupid can be real.

Not a chance

The ending has to be without plot holes

Without character personality mistakes

And no amount of explaining can fix that unless the DLC is called Shepard's Nightmare and the first ending was just a dream.

Only if I hear from people that they made it so that the ending has no major plotholes or at least doesn't make ME1 completely pointless. Hell, I could deal with a new script for the star child that brings back the dark energy plot instead of "I don't want you to die so I kill you so you won't be killed".

Or if they make the Indoctrination Theory fact instead of just a theory. None of those means they won't get a dime out of me for DLC.

Pay $10 for an explaination of why the ending is so bad? **** that.

SPOILERS

Nah, Its 10$ for "No, your wrong. Your just to dumb to get it the first time around so watch it again, this time with a in depth cinematic telling you how your choices dont matter and you just doomed the entire galaxy no matter what. Thanks for the 10 extra dollars idiot" Image IPB

Unless they actually change something thats about what were going to be given, pardon me, sold.

If they expect people to buy "explanation" dlc with the same nonsense GodChild space magic, I will never play another Bioware game again.

If the content is there and looks sufficient, I'll buy it.

I don't care what they call it. Expansion. Explanation. Clarification. Alternative. Can you hear me now?

This is pretty much what I'll be doing.  I'll wait for feedback from those on here who get it, and see what they have to say in terms of what the DLC actually adds.

I'm done buying BioWare stuff without reading fan reaction first.

If its closure I'll buy it, I loved the endings, but some more closure wouldn't hurt. If it is just new endings I'll probably pass as it will just be a cliche that people are lining up to buy. Though I will buy other DLC after that.

This. Once I see what this content is, then I will decide if I'll continue with the franchise.

I'll watch it on Youtube. If it doesn't fix the worst plot holes in a series, give us closure, or fix that Normandy crash bull****. I'm not buying it and I'm honestly done with Bioware. I love the company. I have loved all of their games but this ending.....if left the same is just not forgivable for me.....

If they fix what I said. My faith in Bioware will be restored and I will buy every single DLC they put out and will return to being a loyal fan

I'd love to see how they embrace the Indoctrination Theory. Because honestly, aside from the current ending being a vision of god (which would be weird for ME), IT is the only thrilling explanation for every single detail throughout the games that makes the ending logical.

I'll buy it, so long as the endings themselves aren't changed.

You people whine too much. No one was calling for a new ending until monday the 19th, everyone just wanted them to fix it, so they planned to do so, but by than everybody had jumped on the "the whole damn ending needs to go" bandwagon so now were back to square one.

The fans started a war, and just moved the goalpost back 50 yards right when bioware got ready to deliver the kick. And if bioware decides to change the endings than fans will just say move the goal further back to something like "unless you use the indoctrination theory than I won't buy anything from you". Because these forums have evolved to the point where we need negativity and a hatred of bioware to sustain ourselves, less we atrophy and die from having our demands answered.

There need to be some substantial changes.

(1) An option to challenge the starchild
(2) A fourth choice based on rejecting its reasoning
(3) An option to not destroy the universe

For anything else, an expansion of the endings including explanations and an epilogue showing the results of the bigger choices we made while playing would work.

As it is now, making no choice and waiting until the message "The Crucible has been destroyed (Critical mission failure" pops up appears like an attractive way to end the game.

If the ending DLC will ever be released, it would be expending of current ending, thats for sure.

You have to understand that if they completely change the current endings they have to do this by free patch, not payable DLC. And you know that they don't do anything for free. Payable dlc = expanding endings. A few more options in the final is a best we can hope for.
