I have read the article about Weekes post about how Casey and Walters wrote the ending in isolation and how Chris P. indicated that it was a fake after asking him about it. BUT, several things don't add up:

1. As the article indicated, the account was attached to him and the only explanation that he didn't write it was that his account was hacked. But, do the words used match his previous posts? IF it sounds like him, then it must be him. In addition, PA never indicated a breach of any kind to anyones account.

2. Now that the Final Hours app has been released, Walters himself indicated discussions that "he and Hudson (alone)" had regarding the ending, which seems to lend weight to the original post passed off as fake that stated they were the only two involved with the ending.

3. Has Weekes tweeted or made any public statement that he DIDN'T write it HIMSELF (I really don't know the answer to this)? Because if he did write it and said he didn't and he gets bused on that later, it will create a whole other PR problem for Bioware. If he has not said anything for or against, his silence is also telling. What's the old saying, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"?

In my mind, I tried to think, WHY would those two and only those two try to write the ending by themselves? The only answer I could come up with that seemed logical was that they wanted to keep as much of the ending a secret as possible from everyone else (i.e. they didn't want it leaked prematurely). As good a reason as this is, it still has a dark side in that it assumes Hudson and Walters did trust the other writers to keep their mouth shut. And if the orignial article was by one of the writer, perhaps they had reason to question (even thought the post was after the games release). Either way, a lack of oversight and consistancy checking seems to have doom the ending. Trying to be too secretive/clever ended up biting them in the PR a**.

I doubt little can be done to fix this issue at this point. The best hope there is is that alot of scenes and levels were already done or nearly so and never used so they can go back and quickly rebuild/retool the ending to a more logical conclusion. One can only hope....
