Before launching an assult on the Illusive Man's base, I was skipping through the dialogue with Admiral Hackett and got to the point where it shows a cutscene of the Crucible. At the same time, I accidently hit the button to bring up the map, which was brought up after the cutscene. After closing it, I couldn't click any option to continue dialogue (though I could spin the pointer), and had to Alt+F4 the game. After starting up again, the quicksave of my game was badly corrupted; every weapon, armor and mod I had found/bought was gone, my casual clothes were reset to default, and my level went to level 1, which 0 points to spend (which is very interesting, as it was a ME2 import, and thus, should have at least those starting stats).
I was lucky that I had saved when going through the mass relay before flying to the Illusive Man's system, so I didn't have to go too far back, but this could be a major problem for someone else. Might be best to look into this.
