Good evening,
After finishing the prologue, I went to check my messages on the private terminal on the Normandy. The first page was basically flooded with messages telling I got my bonus items. But I cannot scroll down to view my other messages. There is a flashing blue triangle pointing down (assuming it indicates more messages), and all I hear are beeps when I press any buttons or use the stick to try and scroll down.

Also, Dr. Michel is not recruitable. Beeping sounds and highlighted options, but nothing is clickable except the good-bye option.

Update: Deleted my save and game data (all but the DLC and patches file). Restarted the game. Same thing happened. No message scrolling, no Dr. Michel recruitment.

Default appearance, war hero, spacer, Lt Cmdr Ashley alive, soldier.
