In Redcliffe castle after I entered the fade, killed the demon to free Connor, and returned to the castle, the dialog, journal, and codex all spoke of how Connor's big sacrifice was the loss of his mother...who was standing right there talking to me and watching over the unconcious Arl Eamon after it's all over.
