I bought it for Miranda's... erm... posterior.

Art that I was promised would be satisfying, fulfilling, and full of conclusion.

Woops.

I bought it for the conclusion to an amazing trilogy where my choices mattered.

For escapism and enjoyment, it failed on both accounts (just like a NY investment banker).

I obviously bought it to shell out cash for Day One DLC, photoshopped stock photos and some IGN bimbo.

An entertaining, engaging, fun RPG.

I was not disappointed.

The story, mainly, and to see what happened to the characters.

This. I bought it for Garrus, Tali, and Wrex. I bought it to save the galaxy once and for all from the Reaper threat, to finally force those synthetic bastards out of my galaxy and into oblivion.

I bought it to feel like a hero.

I bought this game so that I could continue to enjoy the mass effect experience and to see the story be brought to a satisfying conclusion that varies vastly depending on your choices throughout the series.

Entertainment. That's, you know, kind of the entire point of the whole video game idea.

And, might I add, a satisfying conclusion to an otherwise amazing series.
