Well, let's see. It's a video game, so I probably bought it to play a video game.

Im tired of people like you saying that..

If you bought a book and the last 10 pages were missing you would be mad....

If you bought a movie and the last 10 mins were missing ... you would be mad

If you bought a car and it would get you almost to work everyday and it broke down in the last 10 miles you would be mad

Escpecially If you were told this where complete working Products.   People like you really need to think before you type!

Funny, I didn't say that I liked it.  I do not like the ending, extremely so.  The question was why did you buy it, I bought it to play a video game.  Why is everyone just looking for a fight these days?

I bought it to play my Shepards.... in this Large Universe that was advertised with THOUSANDS of choices to take  through it and get your OWN story................................. and well thats what i thought i was buying!

I get what your saying... A game but to many of us its more than just a game and it was advertised, Bioware Pulsed, COmic Con,   Press Release. MassEffect sites.............. its everywhere stated you could do this but when you play masseffect 3 and finish it .................its Clear this is not the case!

I bought it because it is escapism I get to be a BAMF with a shotgun and the entire cast of characters are awesome. I bought it beacause Commander F ****** Shepard ALWAYS gets the job done and she needed the end of her story. The story the writing the characters the cutscenes the NPC PC interactions NEVER FAILED TO DELIVER

until the last 5 minutes

for several reasons that were not included in the game: to see the consecuences of my previous choices, closure and to see the future of Shepard/Galaxy in the epilogue.

You can guess what we got...

According to Fox, Mass Effect was a sex simulator. I didn't get that in ME3. Instead I got a plot hole riddled story with a conclusion most likely written by the interns.

I got it for the BUTTON OF AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!! waite wrong game.....

Ok Seriously I got it because I wanted my character aka shepard to have for once a happy ending, I wanted them to have their little blue kids (or kids with inviromental sutes in some cases). I wanted to have a satifying ending to a storyline and games that I played for MONTHS on end. I played the game for the things that I was promessed by BIOWARE that I am way to lazzy to post them on here but trust me their in the forms of all the lies we where told about this ending.

however I am still waite and looking for that button I was promessed..... maybe this should have been my first clue about biowares abilitiey of being honest.

I agree........ to me the game was the most awsome of the series......... seems they got a great balance on everything.

Story Flow was great (some side missions were not all that clear)
Characters and Interaction Awsome
Pulling Most of the story together at the end (Minus the Dark Matter issue)
It Felt like i was on a time table and couldnt stop playing for 2 days straight... thats how good it was.

Every Masseffect game i have played made me want to Replay through it and change the story.....

This 3rd one i put down as soon as i got done....feels it has no replayablity like the others did.

10/10..............................................until the end.   the ending in its current state feels RUSHED, Slapped together, and Multiplayer DLC is more important..(ya know the cash cow we made to get people wasting money on in game items) was the approach i feel was taken.

Get Rich Quick before the Fanbase Dies off type thing.... Just feel Corp Greed all over this instead of Art and the Dev team.. (when you get to the end)

I shelled out 83.59, money of which I had to really juggle money to get given my budget and all the crap that goes on.

And I did it to have a conclusion to the series, and be entertained as my Shepard stomped the Reapers in and became the biggest baddest hero who had done the impossible against the greatest adversity.

If I wanted "art", I would scrounge up some cash and pay one of my artist friends to draw me something.

I paid for a game, a very expensive game, with a proper conclusion. Not some drugged up cop out that a novice writer could only crap out and which invalidates everything I have played the series for in 10-15 minutes.

The promised conclusion to an awesome trilogy which modifies itself around your decisions in the prior games and concludes with a vastly unique ending based on your previous 100+ hours of gameplay.

That, and the whole video game part. I didn't pick up the game thinking "this will fit perfectly on my living room wall next to the Monet."

Interactive entertainment that changed course as my decisions throughout affected the story.

Is there an "art" to making a game? Yes. To telling a story? Of course. Are there countless individual artists who produce art that goes into the creation of a game like ME3? Obviously.

But the day you start packaging your art, advertising it, and charging me to enjoy it, it becomes a product, and I become your customer. On that day, my satisfaction begins to outweigh your artistic vision.

It's a pretty simple equation: If I don't like your art, I won't pay for it. If you want me to pay for it, you'd better try to make me like it.

Im sorry Soul if i sounded like a jerk..................i just love this game so much. Shepard is a household name with me.. My kids , and wife even love this story..  It is a wonderful peace of art that i want to see ended in the same way it began. (hell its the first game my wife has ever picked up to play. Now SHE doesnt wanna finish cause of this 3rd one.) and she has NEVER been into games!  That to me is an even more powerful statement than im trying to make on the forums.

Passion, thoughtfullness, completness, and input from the fans that really have been with the franchise from the begining.

MassEffect is the Only Singleplayer game i have played Multiple times and loving every moment that i have already seen.  Just hate to see the Reapers take it from us, and rip it apart into a Multiplayer DLC weekend event fest thats doing nothing more than drawing straws to keep the game afloat.

Even the multiplayer in this game seems halfhearted.......  DLC packs arnt working for half the community for those that payed Real cash for it and they are gettin the run around from support.

Not to mention the events they are doing where you get Free kits and stuff the rewards system isnt even working right.  I participated in last weekends event and got a bugged victory pack that they want me to go through loopholes to fix when they should have tested this **** to begin with.

Still waiting on my Free Victory Pack............... and you think im gonna buy stuff bioware if the free stuff dosnt work right ................ yeah right!

Soo you bought your game and hung it on a wall? I bought it to play an interactive game in which I shaped the story to make it my own... What kind of frame did you use? You realize the disc in there goes in an Xbox right?

Fun by way of discovering how the choices I've been making since ME1 will affect my shep's galaxy.
