Soo you bought your game and hung it on a wall? I bought it to play an interactive game in which I shaped the story to make it my own... What kind of frame did you use? You realize the disc in there goes in an Xbox right?

PC Collectors Edition.............. i wouldnt expect some 13 year old console player to understand.

I posted this earlier not sure if you read it.

Im tired of people like you saying that..

If you bought a book and the last 10 pages were missing you would be mad....

If you bought a movie and the last 10 mins were missing ... you would be mad

If you bought a car and it would get you almost to work everyday and it broke down in the last 10 miles you would be mad

Escpecially If you were told this where complete working Products.   People like you really need to think before you type!

u fired the first shot with the snazzy picture frame comment.... kudos....... but your argument is a bird.

Im sorry Soul if i sounded like a jerk..................i just love this game so much. Shepard is a household name with me.. My kids , and wife even love this story..  It is a wonderful peace of art that i want to see ended in the same way it began. (hell its the first game my wife has ever picked up to play. Now SHE doesnt wanna finish cause of this 3rd one.) and she has NEVER been into games!  That to me is an even more powerful statement than im trying to make on the forums.

Passion, thoughtfullness, completness, and input from the fans that really have been with the franchise from the begining.

MassEffect is the Only Singleplayer game i have played Multiple times and loving every moment that i have already seen.  Just hate to see the Reapers take it from us, and rip it apart into a Multiplayer DLC weekend event fest thats doing nothing more than drawing straws to keep the game afloat.

Even the multiplayer in this game seems halfhearted.......  DLC packs arnt working for half the community for those that payed Real cash for it and they are gettin the run around from support.

Not to mention the events they are doing where you get Free kits and stuff the rewards system isnt even working right.  I participated in last weekends event and got a bugged victory pack that they want me to go through loopholes to fix when they should have tested this **** to begin with.

Still waiting on my Free Victory Pack............... and you think im gonna buy stuff bioware if the free stuff dosnt work right ................ yeah right!

It's all good, I agree with you 100%.  I've always been a big fan of Bioware and their games to the point that I thought they could never disappoint me.  Then this debacle comes along.  I still hope they listen to us and do the right thing, as they have done in the past.  I have more concerns than just the ending, but that is my main concern now and my previous posts in other forum topics allude to that.  My previous post was just to point out that I didn't buy it for art, just to be entertained with what I thought would be a great conclusion to an otherwise fantastic series.  I just worded it was a joke.  No offense meant and no offense taken. Art hangs on my walls, in display cases, or it gets listened to or played (music), or it gets viewed.

I buy video games for entertainment. I bought Mass Effect 3 because it continued the story from Mass Effect 1 & 2 which were fun and enjoyable sci-fi pulp games that didn't take themselves too seriously as was evidenced by the plot holes and one liners, and lines such as "remember the good old days when you could just slap omnigel on everything?" It poked fun at itself at times.

Along comes ME3. Now suddenly it's "art". Not just commercial art, but suddenly people are using fine art as a comparison. That's pretentious. That's not why I bought it.

I bought it to be entertained and to kick the reapers in the daddybags, and have fun doing it, even if the story line was dark along the way. I knew this was then end of Shepard's story. I just wasn't expecting to have the game leave me feeling really depressed for three weeks afterward. That's not what a video game is for.

Heck if I want that I'll go join an occupy movement this May and get pepper sprayed by the cops.

A game I could play with a satisfying conclusion. Jenga anyone?

HELL YEAH

OT I bought it because Mass Effect is awesome and I wanted to see what happened to SHepard. Also why didn't anyone use the Poker table? Apparently no one plays poker, not even James Veg-

Even if it is art, why am I not allowed to hate it? and tell the artist he did a bad job? and that if he wants me to buy anything more from him, that he should probably make things right? especially when he told me said art was going to be a certain way, and they deliver something completely different?

Well, it could have to do with how stupidily blind fandom's can get. And trolling. And also if the people who say such things really care or their opinions are bought.

At least in general.

Originally? I heard Bioware had made an awesome Sci-Fi RPG and people were discussing how great it was.

I hadn't so much as seen game footage before I bought ME1. Halfway through ME1 I was having such a blast I bought ME2 so I could start it as soon as I was done.

The reason I bought ME3 was to see how it concluded.

I kind of wish I hadn't now in some ways...

Bought it because I wanted to win.
To finally wipe out the Reapers, shoot Udina, kick back and drink with my crew, and then ride off into the sunset with Garrus for my well-deserved victory.

...
At least I got to shoot Udina.

P.S. disregard the comment about Miranda, if you wanna take me serious

Since the ending ruined the series for me, I guess I bought the CE version to be a paperweight that makes me sad when I look at it.

Depends what you mean by art.

I bought it for

- Exploration of the Mass effect Universe(That would be Art)
- The Experience(That would be Art)
- An Epic conclusion to the trilogy(That would've been Art)

So yeah I bought it for Art.
Sadly the exploration was poor and that resulted in a poorer experience, the conclusion is another story.
I say I wasn't happy with the Art, I expected it to be just as good as the previous art.

Art changes.

That. I started with ME2 in 2010, actually bought an Xbox so I could play it. Finished ME2 and I was sold forever on what felt like such a new refreshing experience with a great story. Hearing about the events of ME1 in ME2 I just had to buy ME1 so I went out and bought ME1 a week or two later and havn't stopped playing them since... well since ME3.

If I wanted art, I'd visit a gallery.

I picked up Mass Effect 3 to experience the epic conclusion to an awesome sci-fi saga. Only to end up being kicked in the nuts when I reached the end of it. Disappointing that such travesty was allowed to be released.

Yes, video games are art. No, being art doesn't make it immune to criticism (quite the opposite). No, being art doesn't mean you can't change anything.

I bought ME3 because it would (I thought) provide a satisfying dramatic experience, providing emotional catharsis at the end. It provided the former until it failed to provide the latter.

A satisfying end of Shepards story, the tears that come with saying goodbye to characters I've gtown to love. Lets face 99% of thegame is perfect.

I did not buy it because it was art, I did not by the conclusion of a trilogy for some bull**** speculation. I sure as hell did not buy all the DLC, the CE, to give up on getting a better ending now because some people want to preach about artistic integrity.
