I was a good ways into singleplayer (probably 80%+ war assets) when I finally started playing multiplayer.

Multiplayer worked fine earlier this week (56% readiness) until today.

Now when I:
1. Load the game, there's an unusual ~5 sec delay after pressing any key at the "Press any key" screen which wasn't there before.
2. Load singleplayer, my character is level 1 with 0 creds, 0 fuel, but my quests and reputation display correctly
3. Load multiplayer, I can access menus fine but can't connect.  Queueing causes the game to hang for a while (~60 secs) until I get a "You have lost your connection to the mass effect 3 server" message.  One time I heard someone using voicechat the moment I queued, but it still failed to join.

MOSTLY FIXED...

• On a hunch while writing this I restarted Origin.
• I can now connect to multiplayer.
• Had to load a prior save, as the most recent one remained at level 1.

So the issue is solved but figured others might want to know how to solve the same problem.  And still slightly sad to have to replay an entire mission over again in singleplayer, but at least the character wasn't permanently corrupted.
