I have a Shep I'm importing from ME2 who has a dead Wrex, but the ME3 import menu is telling me that Wrex is alive. Is this just a display bug, or is ME3 going to bring back Wrex from the dead?

Figured I'd be able to import the save and get to Sur'Kesh before I got an answer here. Looks like I was right.
Wrex has come back to life, despite his name appearing on the Normandy's dead crew memorial wall. Por que?

I have a similar problem. I saved wrex in ME1 and he was in ME2 and when I import my game it even says Wrex is alive, but he is dead in game. Very frustrationg hopefully someone from Bioware will address this issue soon.

We should just trade Sheps, lol.
"That was a joke."
I'm looking at the save right now in the Gibbed editor, and it shows Wrex killed by Shep on Virmire. Not sure where ME3 is getting the idea that he's alive. I'll try switching it to Ashley and see if that has any effect.

I had this bug also, he was alive in the end of ME2 for the import I was using, comfirmed in the Me 3 import screen, but his relacement showed up instead.
In the war room when I looked at the map, even showed 'Wrex' as a location. For my newgame+ I changed his alive flag in gibb's save editor.

K tried switching the flag from gunned down by Shep to gunned down by Ashley, and ME3 still thinks hes alive.
Sadface. I likes me some Wrex, don't get me wrong, but I have 6 other Sheps where he's alive. I'm trying to experience the whole game here, not just part of it!

Im gonna try flaging him as dead in my ME2 game I guess. I just hope it doesn't mess up any story/quests later on in my ME3 game.

Having played through the whole game, there was nothing to suggest that Wrex gets reincarnated. But I only imported a living-Wrex game and the default character (which I'm playing now) has Wrex dead.

Yeah I've played through the game 5 times. I know Wrex doesn't get reincarnated... that's not what I'm saying at all.
What I'm saying is, I have a playthrough where Wrex was killed in ME1, he's therefore dead in ME2, but the ME3 importer seems to think he's alive. His name appears on the dead crew memorial on the Normandy's crew deck, but when it's time for the summit before Sur'Kesh, Wrex is there... even though he's dead.
