Had the issue just now. It seems to have solved itself, so I presume the issue was on the BW/EA side. Using win 7.

I really think it's the servers. I'm using XP and tried disabling all security and it still thinks I'm offline. Bloody hell it's annoying when stuff like this happens.

Hehe...how do you figure.  Was working fine before.  Doubt the answer is as simple as "it's a vista feature" 

But in all seriousness.  I have checked my firewall and all the DA/Steam stuff is permitted.  So I doubt it's being blocked.

What do you even need to do special in Vista?

I have UAC disabled / running as Administrator. Doesn't make a difference?

It's a sad day when I can almost honestly say " I wish I pirated this game" because then I might not need to deal with this crap. I sincerely hope they cut out the login for DLC for mass effect 2.

Was back but its now down again for me.

My internet login was working at first, but then it quit after I switched away (Alt-Tab) from the game.

The workaround I discovered was to exit the game, restart, and then select the Configure option, then Repair from the sidebar menu, then finally to select "Add Firewall Exception".

Hope this helps...

Oh, and I am on an AMD Dual Core machine using Windows 7 64-bit (in case that matters).

Hmm, strangely enough I can still save/load despite being logged out. As for the guy complaining about bugs: stop being so whiny. It ain't that buggy and compared to the crap that gets pooped out nowadays it's pretty polished.

Still, i have the same problem of all the folks in this thread.

why thank you my good sir/madam.  My main home computer has used vista since day 1 and never a problem, so blah.  biut yeah, back for about 5 secs than back down.

Well...as frustrating as it may be to be down and not able to play. It is very reassuring that I am not the only one this happened to (sanity check FTW!).



So I have faith this will be a simple fix, and that next time I have time to play this issue will not plague me.

Wait What, you actually passed your sanity check.  Mine always fail for some reason and cause people to go insane.  But yeah, now mine is flickering since I have no better term to define it.

I can play and use all my dlc. I just can't stay logged in so the website profile won't be updating.
