I don't mind his concept, but his role in the story left much to be desired. I will say that his inclusion in the game was worth it simply for getting to stab him with your omni blade. It was just so satisfying.

Kai Leng is just plain awful.

Joining this long-dead (again) thread for one reason and one reason alone... to raise the point that even if you completely dominate the fight against Kai Leng on Thessia, he will sometimes break the game as his petty form of revenge. For instance, the Rank 6 evolution of Lash that lets you affect enemies through shields and barriers works on him (even though, with no explanation given, Stasis does not; guess BioWare forgot to check a flag when releasing Omega).

On the flip side, he does look absolutely spiffy pretending to be Marty Stu Cyborg Nightwing Space Jesus.
