I got 2 minutes into the song, didn't see any connections beyond the generic image used by the video uploader. Closed the video, read your interpretation of the lyrics, came the conclusion that you made some very bizarre connections with lyrics that are beyond generic and could be applied to anything, read some of your posts where you claimed to have listened the song in varying ways (including just paying attention to the timing of the color shifts) and realized that you really just want to this to be true and will dig through anything to make it true. Perhaps you should step outside or find yourself a significant other to occupy your time cause what I read was a whole lot of crazy.

When this post was fairly young i asked people to behave like adults and not insult the band, then i come back and it's 10 times worse...
Why do you people feel the need to bash at the band? Fine, you don't like the music, it's not in your taste, in that case just simply say that you don't like it instead of saying that the band sucks or that your head/ears hurts, no one force you to listen to the damn song! if you wanted your "evidence" you could have just checked the lyrics!

Seriously, what happened to being civil on these forums? what happened to the reate movement being composed of thinking adults? what i see here is a mob mentality "rawr, this song is a symbol for what we dislike about the ending, let's rage at it!!". come on people, it's starting to get frustrating to read so many hatefull comments about a great band, Wintersun never asked to be viewed in this light, just cut it out already!

The mind will try to make sense of anything you want to believe. No. I have only seen the fans call the Catalyst "Starchild".

It really isn't about just one piece of evidence or two pieces that are meant to utterly prove all.

The real strength lies in everything reinforcing eachother to the point of overwhelming odds.


I'll start adding the other batch of "coincidences" in a day. Each one boosts that "no way this is chance" factor, which is becoming undeniably strong.

Each alone mean nothing. All the evidence together paints the proof.

Well I already saw this before...and didn't change my idea on HOW BAD the ending is.

This is just a cheap and lazy thing to do. Inspiration is one thing, stealing a concept from a SONG and ignoring rest of your game's theme... it is just pathetic...

I keep seeing people say "But that picture isn't even by the artists from which Bioware stole the endings!

This argument does not hold water.

Bioware ripped off the very YouTube video it's self. Video was uploaded slightly before the time they began creation of Mass Effect 3. Casey Hudson views it, finds that he LOVES the sounds of cats violently attacking chalkboards, and proceeds to craft the ending of Mass Effect out of his infinite love for this song.
