A: it would have been posted a hundred times on game articles to discuss about it,

B: it was in a thread along with multiple other images meant as a joke, Was an old topic posted not a week after ME3 was released, had a list of other fake images made for comedy and links. I do not remember what it was called though. 

C: No one with half a brain would make a tweet like that and not know that they will be torn to shreds by their fan base. Not even Chris is that stupid.

To tell you the truth this does not really surprise me..... Photo-shopped a picture of Tali and Copied and pasted the ending of Deus Ex as their own ending. I'm not really shocked they also copied and pasted the epilogue back-ground.

I'm disappointed that most people here have been completely taken in by this idea. That picture is one of the oldest damn pictures on the internet. Look:

The band Wintersun have ripped it from Google Images themselves.

It's obviously been given to the cinematic artists on ME3 as a guideline for what the planet should look like, and they've stuck to it just a little too faithfully.

BioWare staff on this board usually reacts if someone puts words in their/their coworkers' mouths. This tweet has been around for a long time. I haven't seen it declared fake.

Because it was first posted in a joke thread. They didn't have to because everyone knew it was a fake, it was more or less stated as such in that thread(If I could find it I would show you)

This again, wow. I agree with you on the ending, but the picture was not "copy and pasted". It is a cinematic scene in the game. In order to put it in the game in the first place they would have to remake it FROM SCRATCH, in cinematic form. Which alone would take a lot of work, and then they would have to change a few things here and there in order to make it look more close to the theme. It was not "copy and paste" or lazy, it would have taken a lot of work. And there is NOTHING wrong with using a beautiful picture in a game if it inspires you.

Same goes for Tali's picture.I have seen all the evidence of the fact Tali's face is infact a stock photo with alterations, yet, does this really take any emphasis out of her beauty? No. I can't see it that way. It's not something that could have been rushed. A deliberate effort had to be made at some point to decide how a quarian should look, what skin tone, her eyes. If infact it was one lone artist with a large pot of coffee and an all nighter that lead to the image of her face, I salute them for having an incredible imagination. But I'm straying from the point I'm trying to make. It's beautiful, touching, and resolves the mystery in the case that she does die at that point in the story.
