 So, I was using the ingame store to buy some BioWare points for multiplayer last night with payment via PayPal. After tabbing around to find the Pay Now button (because it's at the bottom of the Paypal page and the ingame browser thingy hasn't heard of scroll bars, apparently), I click it and wait a few moments.  I then get an error message to the effect of "EA is no longer running. Exiting now." followed by a return to my desktop.  Checking my Email, I note a recipt from PayPal saying I've been charged $20 for my BioWare points. Returning to ME3, I see that I have not actually been awarded any points.

Now, to this point, I'm a bit annoyed, but no big, crashes happen occasionaly and I feel confident that if I email EA, I'll be able to work this out no problem.  I write out a nice, polite letter to the email in the recipt from PayPal (Support@ea.com) explaining my situation.  Let me repeat that: the email link in the recipt from Paypal.

The next morning, I get a reply from EA that goes thusly:

receiving this message because the support case you opened with us is no
longer available. The customer messaging service we were using has been
retired, and incidents opened in that system are no longer being
monitored or responded to.

You want to change your support email, more power to you, but feel free to also update your paypal account at the same time.  I mean, this is serious basic business level crap here guys. This type of thing is why people view your service with such disdain.

On a side note, My points order did eventually go through about 30 minutes later, so there is that.
