Greetings from the Gray Isles PW, we have been up and running for a around 5 months now and have begun to establish a nice friendly group of regular players and staff.

Setting - Faerun, a small set of wind swept isles in the Trackless Sea
Category - Roleplaying
Level Range - 30 though our xp curve is slow but steady.  You wont get to level 30 in a week on the Isles.
Races - All the NWN2 races are open to all players.
classes - All standard classes bar RDD and most of Kaedrins
Magic - Low to middle.
Number of Areas - Over 90

We have recently added two excellent builders to our DEV team in the shape of Ticladesign and Silverlining as well as a new DM in the shape of Hillshellois.   In the coming months we will be adding a underdark to our modules as well as expanding to more islands for the players to explore.

Its taken us a little longer than planned but we have finally added the Underdark to our server, now all those pesky UD races have a place to call home

We fully intend the UD to be just as much a part of the server as the surface and travel will be allowed between the them if you know the routes.  
 
UD players will start in the Grimhold, a duergar fortress below the isles and a trading centre for those that can survive the trip to the place.

The Grey Isles continues to expand at a steady pace.

We have been lucky enough to add another scripter to our team in the form of E.V who has brought a lot of experince with PWs to the server and a refreshing outlook to the team.

As well as that we have added several exterior areas for player to explore called the crags:

Well its been coming for a while but the Isles has finally decided to close its doors.

We had a lot of fun develping the server and leant a great deal in that time.

It's sad when a server closes but it's totally understandable on both sides. The developers can't maintain a server that is too costly or not many people are visiting it and people can't play on two dozen different servers all the time.

What I would recommend, is to make any custom stuff you did, public and/or join other servers that are similar to your visions and preferences and help expand them.
Similar to what Obsidian did when Black Isle Studios were closed and gathered developers from Troika etc.
