I don't think these comments are going to encourage them to discuss anything if you just attack them. I hate the endings but insulting the people who are suppose to be fixing it isn't going to work in any world.
Yes this.

We're not really insulting anyone though. Just questioning their actions. Or rather, lack of actions.rivqa wrote...

They could give us the silent treatment, so let's be happy they didn't go for that.
Oh, wait, right.

That is just funny, especially since I was watching my old DVD collection and watched the science documentary about this very subject recently.DrowVampyre wrote...

Artistic integrity my ass, all game developers care about is money. As they should be, as its a business, not an art. So, they thinking what decision will bring them more money, and will act accordingly in April.
Yeah, I don't buy in to that "Artistic integrity" bullcrap either. If they had any artistic integrity they would not end the game with "plea$e buy more DLC lol".
And if they was worried about their artistic integrity to start with they would not team up with EA.
We all know they are in it for the money. And don't get me wrong, it's nothing wrong with that. It's just capitalism.
But when they are hiding behind the "artistic integrity" mantra they just look silly.

I'm going to start doing this at work to cutomers, they don't like how I do something then I will just refuse to talk to them.

I mean you have seen the "profesional disection" of what ray was "really" saying in his letter
plus he gave a statement, two I believe. one in the digital trends interview and one on the this site.
bioware has also commited to more information in april
other than debating on the forums [we know how constructive that can be] he has done exactly what he should of done and everyone will find out more in april
*edit - also he should not have too. if you dont like the ending move on and dont ever buy a game he produces ever again if you are that upset

(The Artistic argument is moot when it's clear that deadlines caused content to be dropped and DLCed, endings to be roughed out in the nicest sense)
It's just a little fun, don't get so butt hurt

Don't forget to ask them for feedback, but only acknowledge the compliments, all the while crypitcally mentioning coupons that may or may not exist at some point and whose offer is anyone's guess.

Exactly.
Criticism is hard to take. Must be harder, I figure, if you've got thousands of people criticizing you at levels ranging from casual and mild disappointment to "I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD AND I INSULT YOUR MOTHER'S SEXUAL ORIENATION".
It's a ****ty ending. It's probabl a rushed ending. I think of it as the massive video game equivalent of when you're running late to class and you've got a paper due, so you just dash off anything just so you can have it done to turn in. The problem at the moment is that they're not recognizing a mistake (and there's a mistake, no doubt about that) and are disparaging their fans, but really, there's no way for him to "defend" himself at this moment, not from what he's being hit with.
