well he did lie in lots of interviews before the game came out that and the ending is just bad and ill thought out and he has no answers for the things that make no sense he just put it in there because he thought it would look cool

unfortunately for him this game is a sci fi so people thought about the ending and tried to make sense of it and were infuriated because it makes no sense and is nothing like what he said it would be

Because everybody knows the instant that he does say something, trolls shall descend upon his statements like a pack of winged monkeys, insulting him, his game, his intelligence, his manhood, and all manner of unpleasant things. People claim that they just want to talk to him and get answers (basically as equals), but then go off on another thread doing nothing but mocking him and other developers. If you have ever said that Hudson should be fired because of this game (which has sold quite well), then frankly, he owes you nothing. Reasonable and calm complaints are fine, but coming off as abrasive and insult will not getting you anywhere.

When you do not respect your fans, you should not expect respect in return. They have had chance after chance after chance to fix this. Instead, they belittle, insult, and disrespect us. You're absolutely right. They shouldn't say anything, because at this point, there's nothing they can say. "Sorry we lied to you for the past two years. Sorry we gave you a total hack-job flustercuck ass-pull of an ending. Sorry we rushed an incomplete product out the door." There is no salvaging it. They've been in defensive mode for so long that anything they say will be attacked. And it should be.

There are three possibilities now. EIther they weather this storm until the next game comes out, and their next game is basically perfection and enough to make us forget about all the problems this one had. Or they weather the storm, the next game comes out, and it's the same rushed, poor quality mess that DA2 and ME3 were, at which point they will have used up all their remaining credit with the fans, and they'll go the way of the dodo. Or the constant pressure from upset fans drives them into the ground before they can even release their next game. Anything they say now though will almost certainly add fuel to the fire, and drive them towards the 3rd possibility.

Good question. No one has come out in defense of the idiocy and no one has answered for the lies told by multiple Bioware representatives pre-release.

There are many, many, many people senior to Casey at BioWare.

They're just not as well known publicly as Ray and Greg.
