If it wasn't for the fact that I refuse to give Bioware/EA any more money until they fix the ending I'd actually be tempted to get the app out of morbid curiosity.

buy it, you give money to geoff keighley.he isn't to blame for anything
The app is insightful and a fun read.

The only problem I see with it is that it looks like a Casey Hudson's life documentary. Too many pics of Casey flying planes, looking handsome with a sky background and presenting him as a caring father, a loving husband, a genious child and a sleek developer.

We want to know about ME3, not about him.

His hubris and egotism explains alot about why we got the ending we did, and why we may not get a satisfactory ending.

Well....
In Germany Mass Effect 1 is rated for 12 year olds...
And ME2+3 for 16 year olds.

Or maybe he stayed for a second year..several times. That would explain alot actually.

This whole thread is a testament of what's wrong in ME3 - too many kids involved.

That can't be true... that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of if true.

So one little 13 year old had an impact on the story, yet Bioware refuses to allow thousands of disgruntled players get closure to a series they also adore?

Maybe he is 18 and is still in seventh grade. Either way, I don't think he is the right person to listen to for advice about writing a video game...

Protip: the app is not run by Bioware, so it's not their choice what info is being released.

It is funny that this guy seems to release info at perfect times to galvanize people though.

Thats cause the man is going his job... he sees some cracks in the line...

morale/rage boost - release behind the scenes info..  He wants better endings too.

To be fair, the letter actually said that the kid wanted Shepard and his LI to have a child and that you should be able to play as the child and would find some kind of message with a prophecy about what would happen next, which would lead into the next game. Then Casey made that **** Stargazer ending. When asked whether it had anything to do with the letter, he said he wanted everyone to have at least one scene that was the same since everyone's endings would be completely different (lol).

So a kid who should not have even touched the game was allowed to influence the outcome of the franchise. Sweet. So we know that bad parenting is universal, and that Hudson encourages the practice.

Well, at least that kid did not suggest to add the Catalyst scene... Thank God. Children still have some sense.
