There has been dialogue referring Shepard's origin stories, but this one's humble opinion is that there could be more done about it. Perhaps a Shepard-exclusive downloadable mission in regards to their origin and physcological profile. This one would very much enjoy a communication with a Spaceborn Shepard's parent. Or even an appearance of an Earthborn's former gang members as war assets. Or possibly a visit to Mindoir to liberate it from Reaper or Cerberus control.
Do other's feel as this one does?

I think that is one of the major RP weaknesses of the entire trilogy. Shep's background is so irrelevant, except for a few minor quests. I hate the fact that, for example, hardly anyone recognizes Shep a a biotic (if s/he is). I hate that there's no cutscenes where Shep uses biotics if present (for example, people run away from Shep and all s/he ever does is shoot, even if a biotic ... or techie for that matter). It just would've been so much more immersive.

Technically, no matter what, Shepard has latent biotic potential, it's just that it manifests depending what class you choose. Yeah. Origin stories seems so... useless? Nah... they're not very well employed. And I do agree that it would have been cooler if Shepard's actions during a cutscene changed based on class.

I agree, that quest in ME1 was pretty fun. Maybe some future DLC or something pertaining to background and service history would be pretty cool. Not likely, but nice.

I would love to play a form of dlc that involves Shepard's origins. Or even Garrus, Wrex, Thane, or Samara for that matter.
