Adding a Disney Movie ending just to please a bunch of whiners would be a huge disappointment in my opinion. I hope Bioware has the guts to stand behind their original game design.

Noone asked for this and noone at Bioware said they were thinking of doing this.

Strawmen and ad hominems are the weapons of choice for the pro-ending crowd.

People aren't complaining about the fact that the ending is "sad" or that they want a "happy" ending. I went through the entire game expecting to sacrifice myself at the end and see nice closure ala Dragon Age and instead I get some of the most illogical **** I've ever seen in my life.

The ending is not sad, happy, bittersweet or funny it is **** beyond words. Nor has Bioware said that they would add a Disney ending but that they would add closure and fix the glaring plotholes our endings gave us.

Nobody is demanding a happy ending, we just want a coherent one.

That said, what would be so wrong with it if it was hard to acheive? Why should the completionists who max out their EMS receive no reward? It's been a long time since I looked at a game and felt like 100%ing it was just not worth it.

Why gamers don't deserve an OPTION to have an happy ending? An OPTION that is almost impossible to get, but still is available for them? Because you don't want it?

If only the current ones were actually sad, in the sense of sad and not in the sense of potential apocalypse.

For a sad ending I would have preferred if Shepard just noticed Reapers can't be beaten and sees everyone and himself dying. That would have made more sense and would also leave bit of hope for the next cycle "If we got this far, maybe.:."

Considering the game has always been about player building their own character and narrative, doesn't it make more sense to have the option? Personally I think SOME of my shepards should die and some should live. Whatever completes their story most appropriately.

I know a lot of people out there would LIKE a happy ending option. Why rob them of that? You would like a sad ending, so you should get one. If someone else would like a happy ending, they should get one too. Then we all have the appropriate end to our story

I am not bothered if we keep this supposed to be bittersweet ending or we get new ones so as long as it fits in with the actual games with no major plot holes which it currently has (the holes are bigger than the one that sunk the titanic) and I want to show our decisions having consequences with the final decision and the decisions I have made throughout the series.

who cares what they do to appease the entitled screechers.

if its free dlc
if its paid dlc
if its just codex entries

who cares ?

i simply wont buy it or use it,as to me to change it now would be a no pointer.

if they do however spend a fortune on it and make a loss, they wont ever do it again.
then we all win.

deny the entitled and they just keep crying
give them what they want and show it as a failure and they just have to do it once.

so when 80% dload/steal it anyway, they just prove this was all a waste of time.

I would prefer a sad ending to what we have, as long as it makes sense.

Hell, as it stands a sad ending is something to aim for!

Ever thought that maybe the ending is obscure and ambiguous on purpose?

I gotta love the fact that all the Bi0drones who defended the game after the buggy demo are now the ones that are butthurt.

It's about the story, dammit! Bugs can be fixed without too much hassle. Story, not so much.

From what I can see, the majority of the "change/fix the ending[s]" movement aren't asking for a super happy blue-babies Rannoch-housebuilding ending, they just want an ending that makes sense.

This talk of a happy ending is beyond me.

There is NO possible way that anything can come out happy.

Think about it:

Billions are dead. Earth, Palaven and Thessia are devastated.

Living another day is the absolute best possible ending that can come from that.

Well that was the case after WWII on a smaller scale but they still had parties in the streets on VE and VJ day. You take happiness where you can get it.
