Assuming this contains an ounce of credibility, April 24th is still way too early for any of this to happen. (Unless they've been working on it for months... SPECULATION!)

I'd love to believe that you can't make a DLC in a month, but does anyone want to remind us how long Dragon Age 2 took?  If EA sets a time table, BioWare will meet it--no matter how many corners they have to cut.

While I AM a Indoctrination theory supporter........This idea isn't half bad and actually, kind of, makes up for the ****ty starchild thing in ME3.

We will all know for sure.... Incoming announcement of April 24th DLC at PAX ;-P

They DID say this will be the end of Mass Effect......but not MASS SHIFT *wink wink wink*

Yup exactly this^ Typical marketing ploy.

No, FTL travel = 12 LY in one day.

Unless...the Catalyst never controlled the reapers to begin with. The reapers were the gatekeepers of the Catalyst. They prevented organics from creating synthetics capable of releasing the Catalyst on the world. The catalyst uses Shepard, who is part synthetic, to escape his prison by offering him a way to destroy the reapers.

Interesting...very interesting...

And yes, A dlc can be made in a month, if it's only cinematics or simply DA 1 text thing like...

That still makes Shepard the wimpy guy at the end of ME3 who listens submissively to the Starchild, and gets tricked by its,"all created things rebel against their creators" logic after reuniting geth with quarian, EDI with Joker.

Very true, but we need to quit hanging onto illusions that BW is going to change that. We know they aren't, they already said they aren't. It's time to just figure out where they're going with it.

Lol @ the name Mass Shift... I'm guessing that's just a work-in-progress title (if true).

But so I understand correctly, Shepard will return as Advent or whatever?

There is no way any DLC that wasn't already in production is going to be ready by April 24. I call fake.

I'd say the concepts are too silly to be true as well, but at this point who knows what they may dream up next

This seems way too strange to be true. But I said that when people said they were giving edi a body and a romance with joker.

...too bad it still demolishes any resemblance of choices mattering into oblivion, and stuff like a friendly Reaper and Hanar/Volus/Elcor squadmate just sounds too idiotic to be true.  It's just... ugh no thanks.  They've already invalidated player decisions enough.  Not to mention that, once again, 4chan is one of the least credible places to get something like this.

The only thing that gives me a little pause are all the cryptic tweets from people working on the games saying stuff like "If only they knew what we had planned!" as far as people looking for refunds are concerned.  Most of us brushed that off as them just talking about stupid MP DLC or Retake Omega, or even "The Truth" theory.

It closes a lot of extra plot holes and it gives reasoning for why Shepard should come back for another game. His character "arc" isn't over with. Although he won the short victory he lost the longterm victory, and hasn't become a true "Hero" in terms of the Heroic Arc.

In the fourth game he completes his arc by overcoming the influence of the catalyst and preventing him from doing whatever crazy villian thing he has to do.

Really, it's all speculation. But I find this interesting to consider the implications of.

Yeah, but it's not the first time legitimate things have been leaked on 4chan, and just the same. It's expressly clear that "sovereign class reapers" are called "Capital ships", which each house a unit capable of making its own decisions. It's a horrible plot twist, but they did set up the universe to where that could work.

Mass Shift...take away one of those letters and it makes me think of that time I ate one two many 7-layer burritos at ye olde Taco Bell (spoiler alertt: one 7-layer burrito is one too many).

Whoever came up with this was at least a little bit creative...but yeah I'll eat my hat (and then mass shift it out later) if this is real.

Yeah... Which is just silly, especially since one pre-established personality trait is "wants to murder synthetics". You're basically playing as StarInfant by the time "Mass Shift"(lol) comes around. Which it hopefully won't, because this is likely fake.

Priestly! Come Hither! Grasp us in your purifying light of confirmation! We summon you!

This isn't real at all. I mean come on, the troll who made this even threw in the three species they figured everyone would be most interested in seeing as squadmates: Volus, Elcor, and Hanar. Now let's be real here: would Bioware really take the extra effort to get these three completely different races programmed into the game with all the different moves and powers they would need? There's a reason nearly everyone you fight and all your squadmates are roughly the same size, shape, and moves the same.

Not to mention it just looks absolutely laughable. Shepard fused with the Catalyst, suicidal squadmates, etc. We've got Bippo the friendly Reaper who's inconspicuously not dead, a biotic Elcor, a jerk Hanar... I mean come on! All we need now is Conrad Verner, a hippie Krogan, and Bob the sentient toaster to finish up this pack of rejects.

Not to mention, way to completely finish off invalidating our choices! Reapers randomly still alive, everyone automatically with (or without) half synthetic parts...

This would only work if Drew Carey narrated the game.

"Welcome to Mass Effect 4, where the consequences are made up and the choices don't matter! We're gonna start with a game called The Rachni and Why are you Conspicuously Absent/Randomly Alive AGAIN."

This is obviously a troll. I've lost a lot of faith in Bioware but not nearly enough to buy this for a second.

Ohh my god you're hilarious. I couldn't stop at the Bippo bit.

It's tolerable, except for that disconnected Reaper part (which sounds like Bull****)

But Advent, as a concept, it could be good if well developped.
