(Priestly: Rumors are fake) Possible leak of April 24th DLC and next game? Either this, or an elaborate fake

However, if Starchild violates Shepards corpse in this way, I'm done.

Oh sweet, so, our Shepards will become the main villian essentially... yeah... no... that wont ****** anyone off. Take a character away and have them come back like that? It would mocking fans at every step. I dont believe any of this. Bioware has made some poor choices as of late, but this would be astronomical..
Not necessarily the bad guy.
Catalyst = Neo-Reaper, cold and calculating (bad guy)
EDI = Peaceful AI (good guy)
Shepard = lost in this struggle. Hypothetically, who this Shepard is, would be based off of previous choices carried over from Mass Effect (both visually and in general personality, unlike that Revan mess).
This is likely all false, but its NOT unbelievable. Bioware likely DOES run off of a 'canon' plotline, then creates divergences based on player choice.
example: EDI assists in recreating Shep after Synthesis/Control, but in Destroy, there is a slightly alternate story to explain what would be her part. That's it.
Also, I've heard she leaves the ship in some Destroy endings - if so, it would show that the Normandy was just partially able to escape the wave, resulting in EDI's core perhaps surviving. If so, she would exist in all endings, even though the geth would be gone in Destroy (if we are to actually believe the Catalyst).
INTERESTING THOUGHT: We consider through all of this, about 'what if' the Reapers are indoctrinating Shepard. What if... its not the Reapers messing with Shep in the end, but the Catalyst himself? Taking advantage of a Shepard weakened by the war, by the Earth battle, and by indoctrination via TIM, Shepard becomes more docile in the ending. It still doesn't explain a lot of crazy things though.

The fact that a dev has yet to pop in here and confirm this as fake is making me fear the worst though. Come on, devs. Please?
26 pages and no official comment, gotta make you wonder.
They made no comment on the Indoc Theory, or "The Truth" DLC either. It seems the devs enjoy seeing us "speculating" (xD) and posting conspiracy theories

The sadest thing if it is true is that Mass Shift is basicly going to be Call of Duty in space. Lets hope this is a massive fake!
If its true and they make a CoD Mass Effect game with little-to-no RPG to it (and just cutscenes to show story, mayyybe with 'interupts' and that's it), I'm done. Outta here. Bye Bioware, you wrecked an IP.

My Shepard is my favorite character in the citadel. If I ever see Shepard making choices I didnt choose, it ruins it all for me. No big twist for me, I'd immediately feel "That's not Shepard"

Like I was getting at, while this is an interesting idea, it essentially wrecks their IP and I want nothing to do with it. I'll watch the videos of it on Youtube or something and just move on. By 2014 I should be getting into starting my masters anyway.

My stolen idea aside, this all sounds legit asides from the April release date. I would be willing to trust this... until proved otherwise when EA sees the leak and forces Bioware to write a new crappy plot to the replace the quality one that got leaked.

Im begining to wonder of "Lots of Speculation for Everyone" is a way of saying they are looking for ideas.
I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't just all datamining in the best way they see how to do it. Community managers not worrying about replying to people anymore, but just spreadsheeting people's response to the game and the ideas it poses.

They're not confirming or denying anything and being deliberatly vague at this point. Of course they're not going to confirm or deny this.
Looking at it though, it just seems like a troll making stuff up or some terrible fan-fiction.

A Starchild flying aboard a Reaper? This sounds like it was torn out of a Fan Fiction I wrote way before ME3 was released. I had a similar plot in mind.

It would probably be (in this case) 3ish post-game DLCs, with the rest all being in the middle of the game, like 'Retake Omega'.
What I don't get, is how they would be able to do a DLC on that planet, with Shepard gone. As far as I know, we can't control...OHHHHHH. I get how they did multiplayer now! - they already have the assets (for playing as other races and humans) for multiplayer. Lots of recycling here, and we should have seen it from the N7 mission recycling.
Just some wild speculation.

If this turns out to be true(I really, REALLY hope it won't), then , as for me, these guys lost touch with their own franchise.
Spiritual successor? Haha.
ME was space opera with growing dark edge.
This? It looks completly like some postapocalyptic cyberpunk.
I guess it's time for me to say farewell to this IP and find another fandom.

And also, it would suck. I'm fine with the races being at each other's throats simply because that's what would happen, but the rest of it doesn't make much sense.

1.Survives
2.Possesses Shepard
3.Becomes the protagonist of the next game.
I hope this isn't true
