(Priestly: Rumors are fake) Possible leak of April 24th DLC and next game? Either this, or an elaborate fake

out of the coma, he is the Catalyst. Shepard permanently died during atmospheric
re-entry. The characters and the player in Terminator are unaware that it is not
the real Shepard, and this will not be revealed until Mass Shift, the spiritual
successor to the Mass Effect series.
Reread that part carefully
"THIS IS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE TERMINATOR DLC"
This means that, if this is real, in the DLC Shepard will look, act, and for all intents and purposes BE the same Shepard we all know and love.
This means that, until this 'Mass Shift' game, which is still in the rough draft stages mind you, this story aspect will not be addressed, touched on, or even hinted at. If you want to get mad at the other aspects of the supposed DLC fine, but if you don't like the possessed Shepard thing? Good news: he doesn't exist unless the final draft of the 'Mass Shift' keeps it that way.

The biggest problem with what you wrote is not taking into consideration what the endings mean for DLC and/or a next game. From there, it gets worse. Lasy fanfic, not "in-house terminology". Imagination, not exerpts from emails. Sorry, but this wasn't even an original attempt at trying to force someone's fanfic on fans to see their reaction to your "amazing" story idea.

Time for some e-detective investigation.
I think I managed to find the user posting that stuff.
A user on GameFaq called "Chickenhawked" said once that he was a "virtual lightning technician" and had been working with companies like SquareSoft, Bioware and Blizzard.
His style of posting is similar to the supposed leaker.

Here he states that he's a lighting technician and brags about it a bit.
http://www.gamefaqs....61842062?page=2
Here he writes about having worked with Bioware/Blizzard and so on.
He also managed to spell "lighting" wrong once, which makes me more suspicious.
So either this is a top notch elite troll. Or an actual worker.

That said guys, gibberish doesn't make this legit. There is a lot of stuff here that just wouldn't be contained in one single document. Why already plan out squadmates? If they are into that detailed of writing, there would have been better foreshadowing at the game's end.
I'd just say, none of this is really something you couldn't just make up on your own. Split robot personalities is hardly new.

He also seems to be a member on BSN: Here he's complaining about DA2 and says that he'd rather stick to Square Enix games instead. This was written 9 months ago. (note his style of writing long rants and compare to the 4chan leak)
http://social.biowar...1/index/7677485
And if you read what he wrote at GameFaq forums it seems that he did pour his life into Square Enix games.
Conclusion:
It is possible that the 4chan leaker is the user Chickenhawked, which claims to have been working on the lighting in several games. One thing to notice is that he seems to have been working with all the games that he loves to play. It may be possible that he's just an ultra neckbeard that is living too much in his fantasy. There is much that can be speculated.
Shadow broker out (neckbeard status achieved)

I actually don't mind split personalities, as long as Shep was dominant for the most part. I highly doubt EDI would be a negative influence on Shepard. So it would technically be two vs one.

The information here, according the the leaker, is from the blackboard that that they sketch out ideas on, everybody working on it can see it but only head developers can actually write on it. Most, if not all of this, is subject to change. He says there are more details documents, but he couldn't very well sit down and copy everything from them.
EDIT: That's assuming any of this is even true, of course

If there is foreshadowing of it, then this could be a good twist.
Does this also mean that 'destroy' is the canon choice?
However, I'm pretty sure its fake.
According to this, the main characters of Mass Shift are the Catalyst, a Hanar, an Elcor and a Volus. That just doesn't seem right.
Plus, with April Fool's day one week away I think this is just the groundwork for an elaborate prank story about ME3 DLC.

really? you consider this better than the indoc theory? at least the indoc theory has some evidence to support their position/belief. and no, i don't. i believe the ending was cut from the game, they're just waiting for things to blow over before they release them. they can't charge us right now things are too hot.
this?
this is the OP's fanfic. this is worse and more twisted than the endings. reading the OP made my head explode from all the bad grammar (i'm not talking about the shorthand either - i can at least understand the shorthand). hell, the endings made more sense than this does. indoc theory makes more sense than this does.
no - once again: troll traffic; OP's dream.

ME3 was a story about a war that spanned the entire galaxy. Entire species were being battered out of existence.
After threatening to destroy everything and everyone in ME3, any threat in Mass Shift would seem puny.
The post mentions that a Volus Shadow Broker is a villain, but compared to the entire Reaper fleet that seems pretty insignificant.
