Um, you really think ALL of the mods take the weekend off? I have seen tons of weekend modding.

I never said I think it's real.....I just think it's peculiar that there nobody has come in to confirm it as fake yet. The mods were all over that Geoff Keighley thread just minutes after it appeared to verify if it was fake or not (oh, and that was yesterday, also the weekend)

That Chickenhawked is the one who leaked this is the most credible thing about this DLC rumour...

But if it is true... it sounds kinda cool, and space combat would be fun, unlike a lot of people I enjoyed the mako sections because they broke up the shooting segments and gave a change of pace that ME2 and 3 lacked.

But well, it looks a bit out there so I can't say I believe it. I'll wait till the April announcement to see what happens. Part of me wonders whether this "Terminator" DLC and "The Truth" are the same things at different stages of design, but to be honest, it looks like a hoax right now.

Confirming whether or not someone is who they say they are is somewhat different than confirming whether or not this is dross.

Bioware have gone out of their way to be deliberatly vague and have neither confimed or denied the Indoctrination Theory.

You'll have to wait for next month for solid information but a bit of common sense would tell you this is almost certainly complete rubbish.

This was my answer on the same thing on some other thread and this is how I see it:

"Well, they (BW) did think that this harassment of an so called ending is the best, so we got it. Can't believe it still, but it's the truth no matter how hard it stinks.

I don't know about this terminator thing, it's bad, so bad. OK, so they really somehow don't want to kill Shepard (and I'm fine with that because Shepard is Mass Effect, at least for me) but giving me back my Shep with messed up mind and with no soul and force this Catalyst awful thing = NO WAY! Shep hating all synthetic and running around in/with that Murmur what the hell thing is, no, just no.
Mass Shift???? What's that, the same Universe with everything that we loved shifted all around with Shep (Advent??!!??) who has a brain like a over burned pancake???

So take a disliked character from ME3, make him protagonist in Shepard's body and give him a motivation (suppressing sythentics) that  a lot of people won't be able to buy into?

Mass Shift? More like Mass Sh*t. Taking on a canon storyline pretty much spits in the face of everything the mass effect series was supposed to be about. Not to mention the ridiculous characters and twists (Bippo the friendly Reaper who for some reason isn't dead!), and the fact that 4chan is a den of trolls leads me to believe this is almost certainly fake.

It sounds like some really bad fanfiction to be honest.

All of those take place before Mass Effect 3. Tali's, for example takes place before she is recruited in Mass Effect.

Look, I know the endings are bad. But you guys have to stop believeing every single internet hoax out there confirming new endings. It's embarrssing.

I think the problem is that with the Multiplayer leaks, the multiple story leaks and the endings leaks all being true people don't know what to believe.

I still don't buy it, but so many of these leaks have been true now I honestly just don't know.

This doesn't make sense. It seems to borrow elements from all the endings. EDI's gone but it sounds like synthesis happened.
If EDI's gone that means destroy happened.
IF destroy happened then how will Mass Shift have a reaper.

Too much WTF. Not enough sense. I remain skeptical.
