If all of shepards synthetic components are burned out and destroyed, where is the catalyst storing itself in? I'm not sure about this. Giving us mass shift with a 'not shepard', that doesn't sound right.

Thanks to the leaks (plus the inevitable negative reaction to this horrible terminator/mass shift concept), BW will be forced to abandon them.

I would love to see Casey Hudson pitching that idea to EA especially considering I know nobody who likes star child even the press do not like teh character (unless you work for IGN)


not sure why if its true Bioware would want us to play as an AI who's main goal is to mess up life in the entire galaxy (and successful did so)

Though, if they plan to not reveal it until half way through the game, (Which is what I'm gathering)  then it might be different.
But I can't see that happening either... Wouldn't that be the crappiest plot twist ever, "SURPRIZE, YOU'RE ACTUALLY PLAYING AS THE CHARACTER THAT RUINED MASS EFFECT THREE. HA."

While the OP makes for an interesting read, he makes one point that I can completely get behind.

EA couldn't possibly care less about what Bioware fans that voice their problems with the series ending thinks. EA does care about money, which as the OP points out NOT buying any future products or DLC is the only way to get them to reevaluate their business model. In all likelihood they would just reduce Biowares funding and look to some other quality developer to swallow up but at least a reduction in earnings would get the actual bosses of the company to take a look.

Well its apparent that BioWare loves them some Deus Ex so they may just copy Invisible War and make it so all the endings are canon. Most Reapers are destroyed,a small bit are controlled, and all life is Synthedized....



But yeah this just doesnt make a lot of sense, what is the point of even giving us those ending choices if only one of them are canon?

Well, i think it's fake. Not because i don't like it, because i do. I do like the idea of Mass Shift. But seriously, think about the Terminator DLC. If this it's true, it'll be and expansion, not a DLC. The amount of things that'll happen in this fake DLC are huge.

Too bad EA has become such a greedy profit orientated company... almost worst than Activision... think the only chance for us to get a quality continuation of the ME series is that the employees at BW quit and make a new company, independent from EA. Not much money and sources but I'm sure they will do fine, they're really a great bunch of guys (and girls)!

I always feel bad when I say something rude about the game and I know it hurts the developers while I know it for certain that they're the least guilty for how ME ended...

Because taking the most hated part of Mass Effect 3, aka the Catalyst, and making a whole game around it is the single most hilariously lunk-headed thing that any human could possibly think to do in this situation.

Really now, this is beyond absurd if people are actually buying this rubbish. I don't care if it's from 4chan or wherever, this is an obvious troll. Whoever made it could have at least tried to come up with something logical instead of having Bioware say, "Hey! Let's make the reviled Starchild the main character! Yeah! Our fans will love that. LOVE IT!"

This "mass shift" nullfies the statgazer scene, which is supposes to be in the same planet your party crashes (prothean planet accordingly to mass shift) and statgazer scene is 10.000 years after ME3, and they wonder how space travel is still. Mass shift is 1k years after ME3. it makes less sense than the ending.

Not enough sense ? The rachni were exterminated. Yet even if you killed the Queen in ME, they come back in ME3.

Still not convinced ? Hell, the prothean were also exterminated. Yet you find one miraculous survivor... 50k years after they were decimated.

Do I need to remind you what happens to Shepard in ME2 ? Lazarus project, you got to love it.

One thing for sure : in the ME universe, nothing stays dead for long.

I know it's cool to hate DA2 and all, but, despite its many cut corners, there's no way that game was a pre-alpha build.
