originally from Terminator, but they bumped him up because they felt that ME3's
cast was too small. Terminator is about the party crash landing on a Prothean
planet on the edge of Sol, and then they have to figure out a way to make contact
with the rest of the system and get off of the planet.
- When they do get spaceborne, they return to Earth, which is gripped in a war.
Certain species are demanding they be allowed to take the most advanced space
ships out of the system, because Sol cannot support them. There is also mass panic
because the relay transport system has been destroyed, and Sol's remaining resources
are going to run out in less than a year.
- Shepard has been found on Earth, but he is badly injured and in a coma. He was
burned badly during atmospheric re-entry, and certain synthetic components of his
brain were shut down. Chakwas is certain that if he ever awakens, it will be in a
vegetative state.
- At this point, it is suggested that Shepard's broken synthetic parts could be
replaced with new ones. The party then splits up, and you go to three different
planets/areas to find synthetic components that may be able to help him.
- It is revealed that one of the valid components can be extracted from EDI. Joker
allows them to do so.
Admit it, this is good scnerio gentlemen. I liked it personnally, if they make this as clearing 'closure' i'm ok with this

My reasoning for the leak was to draw attention to what BioWare has become. The company, for about 5 years now, has been dominated by EA Games' strict timetables and budget restraints. I'd like to express my continuing admiration of BioWare and the entirety of its staff--the most talented staff I've had the priviledge to work with in my career, which spans 19 years. My admiration for them is why I even bother to draw attention to the predicament that the company now faces. [/quote]

I'll admit that that is not the terrible bit. The terrible part is this:
- Though the details are very sketchy at this point, Mass Shift revolves around the Catalyst (who now inhabits the body of Shepard), who seeks to prevent the galaxy from advancing synthetics. This pits the Catalyst against virtually the entire galaxy, which is quickly forgetting about the threat that synthetics pose. The Catalyst, throughout the game, will endure inner turmoil caused by his "other side" (EDI), who carries the belief that synthetics and organics can peacefully co-exist. That...... thats f****** awful.

I was cool with this until it said Shepard no longer exists and the Catalyst just inhabits his body.

Yeah, this is where they lost me, too. Everything up until that point, I could've been willing to accept... But I think I'd rather live with the endings we have now than destroy Shepard's character.
Seeing as this is coming from 4Chan, I'm willing to bet it's fake. Only time will tell...

Second, That is so not a continuation of Mass Effect, if Bioware thinks fans of ME want to play this, then they must be high.
I like a positive ending, how should this ever be achieved, if your character itself is practically the villain and even fights within himself.
If dark is the only way to go, then thank you, but without me. And the idea alone that the LI marries someone else makes me rage.
No, I won't believe that this is what they want to do.

I feel the same.
Shepard would be better of dead than tainted this way.

I think, and I'm giving my own opinion here, that this really is how they planned for it to play out. But seeing the enormous ragetrain that came their way after they ended it that way they had to go back to the drawing board.
This pleases me. Because if they kill Shepard, and lie to us about it. I will make Bioware an un-company.

Shepard's suit badly damaged after the beam hit him... how on earth did he survives the explosion in such conditions? He was allready a walking dead... there's no chance he would survive an atmospheric reach, he would be perished: remember: armour badly damaged, no helmet, etc...

Also this means that there would be one end and one end only: destroy! talk about making choices that matters...
And how come Liara could trust a reaper!!!
More action oriented ? This does not sounds good either. I want more RPG and more exploration. Mass effect is not supposed to be a TPS.
The only thing I like in this script is seeing Liara as a matriarch (little blue babies).
All that said I have faith that this script is not the one that bioware choosed.
