Well i am ok with terminator dlc. Zero interest for mass shift....likely Bioware will go bankrupt a lot of time before launching it.

The basic idea for this terminator dlc wouldn't even be so bad, it's the "advent" idea that's horrible.

Please BW tell us right now that this is just a fake!

While I agree with you, isn't this what pretty much happened at the beginning of ME2, excepting the damaged armor? I have a hard time believing the armor could protect Shepard much - damaged or not. It doesn't seem like such a stretch for Bioware to make, again.

Yeah, this is where they lost me, too. Everything up until that point, I could've been willing to accept... But I think I'd rather live with the endings we have now than destroy Shepard's character.

I think, and I'm giving my own opinion here, that this really is how they planned for it to play out. But seeing the enormous ragetrain that came their way after they ended it that way they had to go back to the drawing board.

This pleases me. Because if they kill Shepard, and lie to us about it. I will make Bioware an un-company.

Yea, hopefully after all the rage about Starchild they'll realize that this would be the worst thing they could ever do. Shepard is Mass Effect, for me at least, and this would just be a giant slap in the face.

What worries me is that LotSB and Arrival were leaked on 4chan :crying::crying:

I have never considered Bioware the "best" video game storytellers..... they are good just not the best..... but I cannot see any writer in his right mind releasing something like this..... I hope.....

I had that thought too. then I looked at the time frame. It's supposed to be a thousand years later.

I like almost all of it, but they should not delete sheps character entirely, that would suck especially if you continue romance and friendships. The catalyst just could be a part of him (maybe even if he doesn't know himself), that also would be a very interisting story line. Can't really figure out why, bot this stuff reminds me of the Dune books in some way, would appreciate it if its true.

For the record, this is the fourth "ending DLC leak" I've seen come out of 4chan in the past two weeks, and every single one of those leaks contradicts each other.

I wouldn't be worried about this info. Anything that doesn't come out of Bioware's mouth should be ignored by fans and the public. Somebody has simply found a nice little cozy topic to discuss until April. Let's wait and hope for the best. I pray Bioware doesn't let its fans down even more. Casey Hudson and team are smart people.

My level of trust, considering the source, is low. That being said...I REALLY hope that this "Mass Shift" rumor is untrue, or that Bioware, seeing the kind of rage they can drum up when they make a mistake, decides not to mess with it.

So the crappy shift in tone, which we hated, from the ending, which we hated, is now the canon theme of the Mass Effect series.  And the eleventh hour deus ex machina starchild we all hated is now the protagonist.  And as if that weren't enough, he's running around in Shepard's skin and apparently fooling around with his LI.  No, that's in no way insulting.

I hope and pray that this is all fake, but if it's not then somebody at Bioware really, really hates Commander Shepard.

I agree. Our choices MUST matter. Whether the ending is good or bad should be up to the player's Shepard type and the choices made by him/her throughout the series.

Elaborate hoax trolling, or truth, who knows...

It's not the first time, nor will it be the last time such "leaks" as these appear.

In the past, some have turned out to be "true" former employees, whilst others have been "false" and seeking nothing more than to "fuel the fire", so to speak.

Only hindsight will tell anyone if there was any shred of truth to the content of this "leaked" information and "disgruntled employee".

On the one hand it might seem surprising that BioWare would allow this to appear on their own official forums if it's "true". On the other hand, true or false, they're happy to let it ride as part of the "speculation".

True or false, on the official boards or sites of a great many developers, such a thread would be taken down or locked, very quickly.

After so many things that were supposed to be there and true, I'd rather take the bait and assume the leaks are real.

In that case, words cannot describe my disappointment. Never considered turning my ME 3 CE back in, because it has the best character in gaming history, but this about does it.

Wish I'd saved my money for Diablo 3. Atleast the action part makes sense there.
