I'm sorry, but if this is true, I won't buy it. I won't buy a single "Mass Shift" game. You take possibly the MOST HATED character out all of this, The Catalyst, and shove him into Shepard, MY SHEPARD.

No. I won't have anything to do with this. Let the Commander rest, either let him be happy, or let him die a hero's death. I won't have ANYTHING to do with Shepard as a lifeless husk, filled with the godchild.

 If true, they are destroying the Mass effect series even more. really? you are the catalyst in the new series? with ed being part of your subconscious? that just sounds so damn retarded. the rest of the concept of war torn Sol after the relay destruction would make sense. but put sheppard in the helm "after destroying reapers" and waking up. and then have his decendant with his LI be the protagonist in Mass Shift or w.e they are just ****ing this up even more. what part of "we think the catalyst ai was a stupid idea" do they not understand? and for catalyst ai to be inhabiting sheppards body as new protagonist? why would  i waste my time...

What if the DLC shows them remaking Shepard as outlined above, but without any references to Catalyst? If the leak is true (not saying it's true, just... no) then the DLC is actually a trap of epic proportions. Play it now, then find yourself trapped two years later.

If this is true, then it's extremely saddening, personally. I mean, it's your franchise, and take it in the directions you want, but this whole plan feels extremely antithetical to what I love about Mass Effect.

And if the other side is true, that EA is rushing BioWare's games like an evil overlord with demonteeth, then that's just as saddening.

That or the ending is so vague, empty and nonsensical, you could say anything and it could be regarded as a possibility.

Theoretically Wrex and Liara could still be alive. Asari live around a millenium. She'd be quite old. Krogan don't seem to have a definite lifespan. Wrex was something like 1,400 years old already by the start of Mass Effect. Okeer was a veteran of the Krogan Rebellions. I'm under the impression they can live indefinitely as long as they aren't killed by something.

Though if this is true, you have to give them props. They successfully made something that makes the current endings look good by comparison.

If the dlc follows his outline, I will not buy it because of that thought looming in the distance.

Plus Shepard's story was meant to end at ME3 from the very start of ME1 so why are they on about shepard being in this Mass Shift game.
