And I suspect the DLC info is true but the stuff about "mass shift" is outright fabrication. Afterall, if you're pissed off at a company enough and have insider info, what better way to get back at them than stoke an already raging inferno and say a set of plans that would normally be met with praise is just setting up for something horrible? I mean, consider the source, this guy could have a grudge.

But when you leave the path of your franchise so clear, then why don't you create a new one?
Would be like a new Star Wars without the force.

So we united the entire galaxy to save Earth and now they're ripping each other to pieces? Well that is not a contradiction. One would think consider the enormous hatred directed toward both the kid and the catalyst, BioWare would stay as far away from it as possible. Frankly, it sounds as though they are appealing to the casual market. An action focus is code for a Halo clone, albeit with worse writing. I do not even want to fathom the notion of BioWare tackling a metaphysical convoluted story of this magnitude. Walters can barely handle a simplistic plot and even those are a mess.
If true, this is EA exercising their desperation to overthrow Halo and Call of Duty. They seem to neglect the reality you cannot appease both FPS fans and RPG fans. It just isn't going to happen. We like completely contradictory elements in our gaming, the specific point of contention being dialogue. One side ones little, the other wants tons.
Ugh, just... ugh.

Looks like bull**** to me
And really, you guys expect BioWare to comment on every single conspiracy theory that pops up on the BSN? Seriously? You want them to play whack-a-mole any time someone can type up an outline and claim employment at BioWare?
Especially when most of you won't believe them when they do anyway?

This is so out of left field. I like how it asumes post-game DLC when were have been told several times..."No post-game DLC".Sublyminal wrote...
Really guys... this is about as believable as someone saying the ME3 endings were good. First we got the heart murmur reaper. Then we have Shepard suffering from DID. And then with the destroy ending being Canon and the Harbinger child saying that it would kill all synthetics, yet EDI is still very much alive..
This is fake; while part of me wishes it was real, it's fake.

His close friend/attorney is a frigging idiot if he advised him it was "okay" to post this stuff. This, if, true, would be tantamount to theft of intellectual property and they would go after him, hard.

Prothean planet on the edge of Sol? How is that possible? Don't tell me it was cloaked.... Still doesn't explain why the entire crew is on the Normandy.

First... how is EDI is in existence? I thought Shepard only lives if you destroy ALL synthetic life in the galaxy. Reapers, Geth, EDI, the Citadel AI Avina, all of it. Unless EDI was spared somehow?
Also, a "Prothean planet on the edge of Sol" makes no ****ing sense. Sol is just our 9 planets (yes, Pluto is a planet). Unless someone with an astronomy degree or education can explain to me otherwise, I'm calling bull****.
And then there's the Catalyst. Why would I want to play as my Shepard, face, body and all, with the mindset of the stupid StarChild? I mean, thats ****ing creepy as hell! I know the Catalyst is kinda supposed to be this "beginning of time" entity, but come on! It took the form of a kid when we saw it the first time, NOW they want us to take it seriously as the "protagonist" of this new story? Nope.
Finally, there is the addendum which mentions "Witch Hunt" as a Dragon Age DLC. Uh... it was ALREADY a Dragon Age Origins DLC. You go after Morrigan to get revenge, answers, to find your child, or to reunite with her if you love her. Thats the end of the Grey Warden's tale in Dragon Age Origins. Unless theres a Witch Hunt 2 DLC for DA2, which means you gotta go after Morrigan... again?
And then theres the whole "Mass Shift takes place a millennia after ME3" thing I dont buy. Yet in other posts I've seen, its like characters like Vega, Ashley/Kaiden, Tali and Garrus have been mentioned to be in Mass Shift. I'm pretty sure most of those character's species dont live 1000 years like the asari do.
So, in summation... "Terminator" sounds intriguing and I'd buy that DLC just so i can get more resolution to the ME saga. But I'm 90% sure this is all bull**** trolling to get everyone worked up into a frenzy. I don't buy this.

None of this makes much sense, I call bull****. For example, the part with Shepard in a coma on Earth, now being the catalyst and having his synthetic parts burned away doesn't make sense if the player chose anything but destroy. Then, a Prothean planet at the edge of sol? There's trees there, it would have to be close to the sun!
Next, how should there be a Reaper in Mass Shift if you chose destroy? Who in the world would buy a game where you are god star child in Shepard's body? This is a bunch of crap.

If your gonna give me no choice other than having my character die at the end of the game, at least let them bury the body!
Ok, nerdrage passed

This post said he consulted with his lawyer, now if he was under an NDA then by all rights, EA can sue the pants off of him. All they have to do is go back and look at who worked for them for eight years as a lighting guy, who just recently quit, etc. So whoever this guys lawyer is, just gave him the worst advice possible, especially if this is true.
Yes. That proves him either an idiot or a troll. There are alot of both in the world, so where does this leave us?
