First... how is EDI is in existence? I thought Shepard only lives if you destroy ALL synthetic life in the galaxy. Reapers, Geth, EDI, the Citadel AI Avina, all of it. Unless EDI was spared somehow?

Also, a "Prothean planet on the edge of Sol" makes no ****ing sense. Sol is just our 9 planets (yes, Pluto is a planet). Unless someone with an astronomy degree or education can explain to me otherwise, I'm calling bull****.

And then there's the Catalyst. Why would I want to play as my Shepard, face, body and all, with the mindset of the stupid StarChild? I mean, thats ****ing creepy as hell! I know the Catalyst is kinda supposed to be this "beginning of time" entity, but come on! It took the form of a kid when we saw it the first time, NOW they want us to take it seriously as the "protagonist" of this new story? Nope.

Finally, there is the addendum which mentions "Witch Hunt" as a Dragon Age DLC. Uh... it was ALREADY a Dragon Age Origins DLC. You go after Morrigan to get revenge, answers, to find your child, or to reunite with her if you love her. Thats the end of the Grey Warden's tale in Dragon Age Origins. Unless theres a Witch Hunt 2 DLC for DA2, which means you gotta go after Morrigan... again?

And then theres the whole "Mass Shift takes place a millennia after ME3" thing I dont buy. Yet in other posts I've seen, its like characters like Vega, Ashley/Kaiden, Tali and Garrus have been mentioned to be in Mass Shift. I'm pretty sure most of those character's species dont live 1000 years like the asari do.

So, in summation... "Terminator" sounds intriguing and I'd buy that DLC just so i can get more resolution to the ME saga. But I'm 90% sure this is all bull**** trolling to get everyone worked up into a frenzy. I don't buy this.

This, mainly the attorney part, no attorney in this universe is going to give him such idiotic advice. Advice that can no only get his attorney disbarred but the pants sued off of supposed leaker.

 I'm confused. Some guy on 4chan mentioned 'The Truth' dlc a while back, which sounded reasonably good, but was completely dismissed on the boards as fake within about 10 pages. Some other guy on 4chan mentioned a bunch of dlc, including 'The Rescue', and 'Partners in Crime', and 'Take Back Omega' (the latter of which is pretty likely). Likewise, this stuff was dismissed as a troll very quickly. This, on the other hand, also mooted by some guy on 4chan, has gone for over 40 pages in just one day and a fair few seem to think it's legit. Why? Because it's got some videogame production shorthand in it? What makes this idea any more likely than the others we've heard?

 If this "Terminator" DLC is real it actually makes the ending worse, if that is possible. 

Also the whole premise of mass shift is horrible if real. Bioware abandoning all pretense of RPGs and making dumbed down action games with dialogue trees with two choices max and faux dark gritty plots with poorly defined conflicts is pretty much the worst thing I have ever heard. 

You are basically combining the gameplay of gears of war with the script writing acumen of killzone 3. I am not interested at all. If you keep going in this direction your core fans will not leave you. You will have left your fans.

The truth is, that you can't believe **** on 4chan, just because someone got lucky once or twice doesn't mean they will always get lucky.

The problem isn't really Gullibility, It most likely has to do with a lack of Faith in Bioware anymore. The perceived notion that Bioware has lost touch with their "Core" fans completely.

Definitely a troll. Anyone who's worked in the industry, and hell even many gamers, knows that alpha builds are bug-ridden builds with unfinished graphics, missing textures and animations, and bare minimum dialogs. Because the game is still being worked on and wrangled into shape to become a release candidate (Beta) build.

Dragon Age 2, for all its faults, was NOT released in an Alpha state.

This. It's like the disappointing ending has people wanting to believe the worst thing they possibly can about Bioware and the direction of the ME franchise. Folks, this is no more or less likely to be real than any of the other rumours.

In ME3 it was mentioned that his brain is still organic, it's mentioned when Shepard is speaking to EDI in the cockpit.

Shepard's brain is still entirely organic. EDI confirms this in Mass Effect 3 in a conversation about transhumans.

Someone should close that thread, it is hurting the fans, the ones who liked the ending, the ones who didn't like the endings and it is also hurting Bioware. Discussing over so-called leaks that are more than likely a fake, what's the point?

Assuming this is at all true,I really like a lot about this idea, except for the Shepard part.

Just let the Mass Effect trilogy be Shep's story. There are plenty of interesting stories to tell that don't involve him. Making him some kind of anti-synthetic...synthetic, is convoluted at best.

The idea of a Grand Sol War is pretty terrific though.
