(Priestly: Rumors are fake) Possible leak of April 24th DLC and next game? Either this, or an elaborate fake

The most obvious bit of bull**** is when he says DA2 was released in an alpha state. DA2 was buggy, but not alpha state buggy.

A new game that's more action with less plot?
The Catalyst who's the most hated character in ME3 being the main character?
The destroy ending is canon but there's still a Reaper around?
Shepard is now the Catalyst who NOBODY liked because of space magic?
Destroying any chance of a happy ending in post-game DLC?
NPCs are a Hanar and Elcor?
More games with a one-year dev cycle like DA2?
I have trouble believing that Bioware could make mistakes this bad.

It's fake, Elcor's and Hanar would never be squad mates as they are too hard to animate.
Badassfully: Blasto disagrees.

I posted this back on page 3 but the reason I think this particular "leak" is far more discussed than the others is because it's not necessarily the information that's given, but the way in which it's written.
Malevolence's first half of the OP look like legit development notes, to me. I don't work in video games but I used to be employed by a very big media company that used "dev pipelines" for creatives to post notes on a central server and dev teams to read and add feedback. This looks real, to me. The lingo and format look quite real. Now, if in fact it's a troll, this troll knows his stuff about development notes.
The second half could be exaggerated. If it's Chickenhawked (I'm skeptical that the troll or leaker is in fact Chickenhawked but it could be true) then the "alpha" talk and the EA atmosphere are most probably at least a little exaggerated because of fan fatigue, fan frusturation, etc.
Now as far as BioWare's response? This thread has gotten big from it's humble times yesterday. It's garnered a lot of the community's attention. Again this is total complete speculation on my part but based on my limited work experience in publically traded creative companies, my guess is this:
1. It's the weekend and the weekend mods can't do a whole lot because they they don't know whether it's true or false and as long as we remain civil they need to keep it open. They probably have some kind of protocol (or not! I'm not sure) telling them that speculation threads that are potentially "dangerous" to getting to the press need to remain quiet for now.
2. If it is in fact false Priestly, if he's not completely "off" this weekend, would have probably been notified and he would have stepped in to say "no it's not true." Of course, he himself might not know for sure either! In either case, he's gotta wait until tomorrow (Monday) to check with his superiors.
3. I noticed some users saying even if certain leaks are true BioWare will often deny. But this thread is being posted in light of a lot of mad response from fans and press. If they "deny" this then release "Terminator" in April, they're going to catch a TON of flack from the press for lying to us. In the past they probably could have gotten away with it...but now? They're being very careful.
I'm confident a chunk of the OP is true. Many of the OP's responses have been positive from the community. BW will examine and might use this as evidence that what they're doing they can continue forward with. Because none of it has been released yet they can change stuff still, if they want, based on what we have to say.
Or not! /sigh/ lots of speculation.

And since the whole goal was to bring Shepard back "as is", that would not be possible with any kind of tech grafted to it.

I can get that people are tossing around ideas right now in the office etc, but no lawyer would ever recommend a breach of a contract containing a non-disclosure agreement.
Not buying this.

Someone should close that thread, it is hurting the fans, the ones who liked the ending, the ones who didn't like the endings and it is also hurting Bioware. Discussing over so-called leaks that are more than likely a fake, what's the point?
How is it "hurting" anybody, except maybe EA? Over sensitive, are we? If you don't like it - don't read it. Discussing speculations is what the forums are about.

It's hurting the fans making them looking like a silly angry mob, and it is making Bioware looking stupid by claiming they wrote something that dumb.Kub666 wrote...

2. This guy talks about being the 'sole creator' of virtual lighting or whatever, while he's tooting his own horn to make a big deal about how important he is, he neglected to consider this would mean it would be EXTREMELY easy to figure out who he is.
3. That part about 'synthetic parts of Shepard's brain' - it's been re-iterated multiple times that there were none and his brain was entirely organic.
