1,000,000 times better than that "ending" we got.

Unless I'm reading it wrong "CC1-3" is dlc and "CC4+" would be a new game?

That's how I take it.

CC1-3 covers the four "conflicts" and scenarios (Liara on Thessia, Tali rediscovering the "mass effect"), then CC4 kicks in with  "Shift" in 2014.

Well, if it were real, my Shepard being only a 'husk' (not a reaper-husk) of herself, with a completely different mind and soul in the body would make me more pissed than the endings we have. Sorry. Not interested in that kind of metaphysical nonsense. Especially if it's that stupid Catalyst's essence/personality/soul. No thank you.

Nevermind the marriages bit. That's not Shepard, so why would any of those characters marry yours? They fell in love with Shepard, not whatever replaces him/her, or melds with him/her to the point that they can't any longer be considered that person.

If my Shepard is dead, let her stay dead. Body and soul. You want spacechild to go for a walk, let it take some other form.

As soon as I saw the green ending my first thought was EDI now = Shepard, and she's on the Gilligan's planet with both Kaidan(or Garrus) and Joker.
This should be interesting.

lol whoever wrote that knows exactly what that kind of initial production phase document should look like.

Looks like you'll be leaving soon, because this is a much cooler ending to the Commander. Not some ****ty happy roses ending.

Sometiems I wonder why you people are even here. You want generic fantasy, go play Dragon Age. I, and many others, would likely prefer this to stay firmly in Sci-Fi territory, thank you.

Funny how it always seems to be the Femshep's that complain.

Unless I'm terribly misreading: Matriarch Liara, with Wrex's grandaughter, yet Tali is still alive 900 years later?

Yeah, this is grasping at emergency induction ports bigtime.

Someone on the internet is laughing and pointing fingers right now.

Well, like I said earlier in the thread, if this is real, it's just ideas being thrown around.

Likely a hoax, but at least one created by someone who invested him/herself in the lingo.

Interesting read nonetheless.

Assuming this is true, i want to know what's up with this suicide device plot for Ashley and Kaiden. Why would they kill themselves? And if they do, then why would Casey do that to the fanbase?

Hmm. If they don't go with indoctrination then this sounds fine. Ashley/Kaidan having a suicide plot though sounds terrible.

Because they want to kill most off! They don't want the characters to live forever. They don't want them to have a rosey ending.

You people are completely weak.

Do you know me? No. Can your mysoginistic nonsense. I can, and just might, report you for that.

Do I want a happy ending? I barely post, how can you infer that when I said nothing about a happy ending?

In fact, I think I refered to being dead. And staying dead. Because I have no problems with my Shepard making the ultimate sacrifice for her crew and the galaxy. I have issues with the loose plot threads they left hanging, but not with the fact that she dies. This mind melding of EDI and the Catalyst into Shepard's body:

1. Makes even less sense.
2. Is just pathetic pseudo-metaphysical garbage that comes out of really bad fanfiction. And the sort of thing that actually has no place in sci-fi. It would, in fact, fit better in your 'generic fantasy'.

Not that I believe any of this, but if I did, it would be even worse than just leaving the endings as is. But as for sad endings and heroic sacrifices, those happen to be two of my favorite things in my entertainment.

I chose against forcing a merging of synthetic/organics on the universe, so forcing that on my Shepard and altering their personality 'til it's unrecognizable... **** that. This is horrible. Most people want to see Starchild go away (if possible), or at the very least left behind in ME3. Not merging with and altering their bloody Shepard!

And changing Shepard to that extent negates any of the 'closure' stuff about marriage. And what about this 'Mass Shift'. What if Liara was my LI and we're still around in this bloody game? Have we been having this weird relationship where Liara is clinging to some distant, cyborg half-Shepard for 500 years? This is stupid.

They should be working on addressing peoples concerns with ME3. Tie-off Shepard's story, Liara's story, Garrus' story, etc. Give people the closure they want with some DLC. Then introduce someone new for your next trilogy. Arbitrarily ****ing with people's Shepards and LIs AGAIN, is probably the worst thing they could do.

Lawl, some fragments of interesting ideas. But way too early to have such a clear leak with all plot points mostly together.

But honestly who knows these days.

Yeah but then they'll just have everyone else live and can be married? How is that fair?

...where are the Rachni? T_T
It still seems rather limited in reflecting choices, but it does predicate itself as one possible ending (destroy and canon). What happens if Garrus or Tali were dead in my playthrough?

Also, I still think there are many flaws in the logic of several of the ending choices ~_~ We still don't get to argue that the geth-quarian alliance is counter to the starchilds conclusions. This doesn't address the need to explain many of the things the starchild says, or provide reasons for them. I still don't know why the VI (or AI) of the starchild took on that specific form - how would it even know to take that form? This is still unsatifactory.

Overall - I'd say it's better than where we stand, but it's far from what it should be (even with lowered standards). It would, however, cement in much of the bad ending. *shrug* I could be done well, It just don't think it will.

You don't have to mow everyone down with a bus to end the character's arcs.

Honetly, i hope it's a meh! for one reason.

Proposal for "Mass Shift" (DATE OF RELEASE: 2014):= 2 years = probably rushed = probably another crappy detail coming right away.

Well, after all their is a fair chance that i'll be already faaaaaaar away from BW's products by that time.
