This "person" is saying he's leaking confidential information. Still working for BioWare or not,  they can get him to court for that, as you have to keep your companies secrets secret even if you leave them.

And next thing, he's telling everyone in detail what he's been doing at BioWare so that every employee over there can identify him???? Yeah right. Thats like posting pictures from a bank robbery on your facebook account. Smart idea

It's fake. The citadel isn't destroyed in the control ending, and in the worst version of the destroy ending earth gets a glass surface.

It's not hard to miss these differences because they're the only ones in all three versions! The alleged leak doesn't take either of them into account.

Probably fake. Even if they admit that Shepard dies, there is no way his body could have survived the reentry intact (or at least enough so that they can reconstruct him).

I mean, I see the problem, the Shepard being the Catalyst thing is ****ing stupid, but the important part, to me, seems to be that you - the player - don't know about this little tidbit of information until "Mass Shift", or so they are planning right now. Which means, all we get in the DLC (IF the leak is legit, of course) is the little mission to rebuild Shep, him giving a speech that ends the conflict for Earth's resources and then him retiring with his LI or something like that (the "branch: Marriage" thing).

To me, this seems like the best possible solution; the people who like the current ending (and there ARE a few of them out there) can keep them and not play "Terminator", us retakers hopefully get resolution, closure and a higher note to end the series (which is pretty much as it should be in a three-act-story). And if they decide to keep the Advent thing for Mass Shift...

...well...

...we can all just not buy Mass Shift. 

But we would finally be able to play the trilogy and not being afraid of the ending again. Am I really alone with this?

Nope, definitely not alone. I would buy the DLC for Garrus marriage and I think the dlc story sounds fine. Still think it's a troll, though

Pretty sure this is fake.  That bit about talking to a lawyer pretty much confirms this to me.  A lawyer would almost  certainly advise this person to keep his mouth shut.  It's especially clear this isn't real because this supposedly anonymous source says what their job is.  That narrows it down real fast.  It's like that other fake leak that was supposedly from a writer.  That 'writer' claimed to have written certain characters, which would make it entirely obvious to Bioware who it was. 

Long story short, when an anonymous source blows their cover like that, their either stupid or it's a fake.

Mass Shift? Really? Really? That sounds more like a racing game than a RPG Space Epic game. As for the rest of the OP, I don't like it. No sale for me if it is true.

I am really hoping that this is untrue, because I really would not want to play a Mass Effect shooter.  I love the role playing elements and it sounds almost as if they are stripping that almost completely away.

^THIS.....  Can't you just add on to the three endings we already freaking got? I mean I don't really believe this is true. But if it is.... Shepard throughout ME1 and ME2 was a HERO, a legend in his own right.

WTF......Why can't depending on how you ended the game, make him either die in a blaze of glory or freaking retire with his LI?  I mean its not that freaking ridiculous, set the next game in the next 1,000 years and there you have it. Shep obviously can't live that long and you got yourself a fresh start.   *sigh    am I crazy? I must be cause common sense doesn't seem so common anymore
