(Priestly: Rumors are fake) Possible leak of April 24th DLC and next game? Either this, or an elaborate fake

Well imo it sounded great up until it got to "shepard is the catalyst" ****, and then it slowly decreased in value the more I read until I just felt deflated when i finished reading it.
I agree. If being possessed by the catalyst is optional via the original endings than this is ok, so long as it is NOT the only choice.
Of course it isn't the only choice, silly. You can choose Synthesis or Control and just...you know...die

I've been thinking. It's impossible that this it's true. Shep only survives in the destroy ending, but in this ending EDI is dead, so, how can it be that they use EDI to heal (or repair) Shepard? It has no sense at all.
You might be on to something here.

Neither do the current endings.

What's better now, Indoctrination Theory, or this?
I've always been a supporter of hte indoctrination theory so obviously that. However after the mentioning of a biotic Elcor, a Hanar that was supposed to be in ME2, and a Volus you can see most of his body with I call BS. Not to mention that the "ending DLC" takes place on a Prothean planet on the edge of OUR solar system, where your squad mates survived AND you'll be playing as one of them to rebuild Shepard who DOESN'T have a very good track record of being spaced, suffocated, burnt up in atmosphere, and hitting the ground at terminal velocity. Not to mention that ANY piece of the citadel would probably make what would have happened to Terra Nova in Bring Down the Sky look like a minor explosion this whole thing now reaks of fake and troll
I have to say bioware may have dropped the ball when making the current endings but I can't imagine them making something THIS aweful.

Wait, if Shepard becomes the "Advent" or whatever, how do the "Branches" of marriage become possible?
Because Shepard is probably sutibly synthetic at that point in time to outlive most fully organic races. So, the Catalyst would likely continue to impersonate Shepard for long enough as to be able to move relatively undetected.
Or you know, my stasis speculation still applies.
And the fact Advent may not even be Shepard. It was just a suggestion in the original information given.

EDI survives. My friend had her walk off the ship. It may be a bug though.
But she only purposely walks out of the ship in Synthesis in order to "highlight" the fact synthetics and organics are "merging" so to speak.

If this is true I will gladly take my bags and go home. It sounds absolutely horrific - from the plot, to the name, to the gameplay.. everything.
Really hoping it isn't.
This.
And I'll be right there with you.
The only positive thing about this "leak" is that if it is true--I would have no problem at all walking away from Mass Effect. In fact, I would run. This would definitely make parting a no brainer for me. A Catalyst-Shepard? Um....no thank you. Just no no no.
You couldn't pay me to play this.
Fortunately, I do no think that this is true.

It's ignoring the simple fact that, everything you do in ME3 is fruitless in the end. I'm not angry at all just incredibly disappointed because I was invested in the characters. Hell I don't think having blue babbies is even a bad idea. It's not as bad as adding a deus ex ending that had absolutely no foreshadowing.

The character stuff about Hanar and such is subjective. So I won't debate you on that.
The normandy would have to crash on a planet in our general area. The relays have limited range. So that is plausible. It is also known the Protheans studied humanity extensively. It would not be a stretch to believe they had more outposts throughout Sol.
The "Destroy" ending completely blows the spaced part out of the water. His body is relatively intact in that ending. Terrible shape of course. While that itself doesn't make much sense...they've already rolled with it.
Also the Citadel crashes into earth regardless. So...again, yeah. They already ran with it.
The only way you could potentionally dispute a lot of those happenings is if you believe the indoctrination theory to be 100% fact. In which case, we have bigger issues to discuss, like how anything could possibly be fact before its announced/released

So if you check "Chickenhawked" gamefaq profile, in his sig he links to his website -- which is a Final Fantasy XIII FAN-Fiction. I think we an chalk up this entire "leak" as fanfiction, too.
Yup hahaha.

Its exactly what the community wants to hear and there is no confirmable source.
This is a little to remicent of the troll atempts by 4chan a couple of weeks ago and the fake "letter" floating around where the Bioware writer complains about Casey Hudsen and claims that he is personal responsible for the terrible ending. In both those cases and this case its a little to close to what the community wants to hear to be completely believable.

I would dispute you on the "exactly what the community wants to hear" part based on reactions
Also I "believe" it was confirmed by penny arcade that the post came from the account of the developer over there. But he denied posting it so it left open the idea of hacked, etc. I could be wrong on that too.
Anyway, it seems like I'm one of few who likes the implications/considerations posed here...at least from an analytical standpoint.
