THIS has SOME possible truth to the ME3 main story, what if shepard already IS the catalyst

Nah, I was sure it was bull too but went ahead and read the op but when I got to the Shep gets replaced by the Catalyst bit, I was all "don't even effing kid about that crap" lol.

Heh, hardly what I'd call misleading. Among other things mentioned, how many fans would accept the character write-offs of Joker, Edi and the VS? Heck, we just met Javik and I'd be pissed if their conclusion was "oh, well he entombed himself, gone."

Not to mention these character concepts. The hanar? It's funny as a joke, but a hanar would not make an interesting character, least of all to see one fighting. And a 'smaller than average biotic elcor'? You'd be hard pressed to come up with a worse idea(though I'm sure someone will mention ME3's ending. Not my opinion, but different can of worms).

The likelyhood of any of this is...nill.

You're missing the important point, though. It's still a huge distraction. It gets people away from talking about the ending remakes and gets them to move on. It puts people in a "oh, just get it over it, already" situation.

If I was EA/Bioware and I wanted to take the heat off of myself, I'd dump this on 4chan knowing full well what would happen. It's like a very elaborate, "umm... uhh... well.... err.... LOOK! A FLYING MONKEY!" And like a bunch of pre-teens with ADD, everybody forgets about how we need a better set of endings.

Until they come onto these forums officially and say it's fake, their Twitter comments mean nothing.  Especially since they've been cryptic with absolutely everything else they've posted there since this whole mess began.
