Unfortunately not. I would rather have a simple epilogue than a bridge to a new game  But that's just me

A lot of it sounds like complete bull****

The three "options" seem vaguely consistent with the three "choices", but the Normandy crash landing in nowhere makes half of the stuff on there invalid.

EDI integrated into "advent"? she's thousands of light years away hugging Joker. Same with the other squadmates, they can't have the roles listed becuase they are simply nowhere near Earth.

The supposed "future squadmates" list looks really fake. Hanar, Elcor and Volus squadmates but no Turians, Salarians, Quarians or Drell? Not even any human's for crying out loud? I really don't think so.

If that was the next Mass Effect game I certanly wouldn't be buying it, let's just say that.

Imagine a squad with those races. All of them are having those weird sound "mutations"/alterations . It would drive me crazy hearing elcor, hanar and volus all the time during missions and what so ever :D

Elcor: Shocked- Enemies are coming; Encouraged- I'm shooting now.
Volus: -Ahhh- Go to hell -Ahhh- I'm a god -Ahhh- :D

What would the LI's be? Female Krogan or 800 year old Liara?  And that still looks like it would be better than Fem!Protagonists options.

If it's real, it represents what is wrong with the end of ME3. Instead of giving us an option to have closure and complete our story, they used it to set up the universe for more games in the franchise with different characters. Lame. And exactly what they said they wouldn't do.

Nah, by the looks of it, it all would be tied up in DLC while this "Mass Shift" would take place many many years later.

Whats wrong with 800 years old? Samara wasn't that far off. Benezia was older. Same goes for Liara's "dad". Age seems to be doing well for them.

This whole thing seems just stupid...so stupid it may actually be real given the mass fail of the "ending". Oh crap.

If they market it as an action game I might buy it. But if the market it as an RPG... I'll be insulted.

Yeah except I like the idea of the story continuing and the whole idea of the Sol War sounds really interesting.

If any of the rubbish is true the series might as well be dead to me, but I seriously doubt that it is, or that they would have a finalised idea for the next game at this stage.

But the idea of playing as a multiple personality disordered Shepard/EDI hybrid with only a volus, Hanar, mutated elcor and Liara (again) as Squadmates does not.

Ugh. Sounds pretty convoluted and terrible. The whole Advent concept reeks of metaphysical space-magic mumbo jumbo.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."  Arthur C. Clarke.

It's been pretty much pounded into our heads throughout the whole series that the galaxy as a whole (and not even the Protheans) knows diddly squat about the finer points of the Reaper tech permeating the universe.  From a scientific perspective, this cycle is the most capable having fully completed the Crucible, but still has only started to scratch the surface of the finer workings of what's been left behind from previous cycles and dumped insidiously by the Reapers since they started doing their thang.

It reads more like Mass Sh*t to me. Dung.

Besides that - as far as I'm concerned, the Catalyst does not exist any more than the child really existed. They are both a hallucination in Shepard's mind. During the beginning of ME3, the only person who can see the child is Shepard. The child is a hallucination, so is the Catalyst, and so is the entire last part of the game. Everything after Shepard gets hit by Harbinger's beam is nothing but hallucination. The Catalyst cannot change Shepard into anything because the Catalyst does not really exist in the reality of the game. The Reapers are messing with his mind, and, quite obviously, a great deal of the community's minds as well. The ultimate decision you make during the cliffhanger "ending" is whether you: 1) Continue to fight indoctrination; 2) Totally give in to indoctrination; or 3) Kinda meet indoctrination in the middle.

Regardless of how frustrating this cliffhanger ending has been for me, and many others, it is a billion percent better than anything in this Mass Sh*t document reads to me. This is all my opinion, of course.

Since it's all space magic.... think they can consider put some magic implants on Garrus too, so he is alive in the future?

If real, it actually looks like proposals for 2 different things. Possibly ideas for a DLC and a new game that looks to take place 500+ years in the future, considering the mentions of Liara as a matriarch (you go, girl ) and Wrex's decendant.

- Kaidan/Ashley - Consideration: Introduction of eventual suicide plot
device? DX Note: No, not in DLC, save for Shift
BRANCH - Ask Dx

It is 2 different things if it's real. One is DLC the other is a full release.
