Yes there are a few plot holes that need filling, other than that, brilliant.
PS, disagreeing with me means you're a xbox cod **** who can't comprehend a story when it requires you to think a little

I was about to respond nicely to your post, until I saw your P.S. Basically that snarky remark not only invalidated your succinct opinion, but also leaves you open to be labeled a troll.
Take any book you want... Moby Dick, Dracula... and substitute the last 3 or 5 chapters for the final ones of Twilight. That is ME3 ending in a nutshell

Assets, Continuity, Plotholes, Choices none of these matter everything is ignored, not even hand waved.
I'm not going to waste my time arguing it, but we're disgusted that BioWare advertised and promised numerous things in the weeks leading to the release and we got none of them.
Coming on here to post about it without even reviewing the actual content or threads or links or issues is just wrong.

I don't like Shepard sacrificing others. Killing the Geth and EDI. Messing with DNA. Controlling the reapers all feel wrong. How long can one Shepard control a whole fleet of reapers. I though TIM was crazy for even trying. Boy is my face red, ...er blue.

I am happy people enjoy the ending but don't try and tell just because people disagrees with you makes them a xbox cod ****. even if they played it on xbox or play cod makes no difference. The ending like your logic makes no sense the plotholes in the ending that make no sense just like your flawed logic.
I am open they a debate on why the ending is bad or good but you sir are just a troll

And all I've done since I finished the game is think about the ending. It only manages to make less sense as time goes on.

When I go to the supermarket to do my weekly shop I don't anticipate being run over on my way back to the car, that doesn't mean it'd be amazing.

So anyone who disagrees with you is an xbox cod ***** right so the fact that I don't have an xbox and the fact that I been playing bioware RPGS since they started back in the 90's. Still makes me a xbox cod *****. No wonder you love the ending as your logic is just as bad as Bioware as in it makes no god dam sense.

And it's also crazy that my god-damn DREAM I had last night had more closure and sense to it than the actual ending of ME3.

Basically Shepard's series ended with no closure. It's like ending Lord of the Rings without showing the aftermath of the War of the Ring.
Or ending Star Wars with the Death Star charging a blast to blow up Endor then rolling to credits.
We don't want 'And they lived happily ever after' granted some do, some don't, but most agree choice and many different and varied endings would be great. We want closure, we want to see the end of the War, we want to see the fate of those we've "Shepherded/Sheparded". We want to see a follow up of what happens with the various angles of the story after the war at least to a decent bit of closure.

so it's good because it's unexpected?
than this must be even better.
Sheapard is taken up by the elevator...

"Hello Commander, I am God. I will now give you my powers for 24 hours. have fun"
Shepard re-appears in front of harbinger and shouts "Hey! Harbinger! 'This Hurts you!'"
and Vaporizes harbinger with a Hadoken. Shepard than snaps his fingers and all the other reapers explode into confitti. the dead rise and Shepard is now surrounded by half naked cheerleaders.
THE END.

That's funny, because the only way you can make the ending make sense is if it WAS a dream...

Maybe ME3 should also collect all your system passwords to post them at 4chan and delete your hard drive after you finish the game,THAT would be unexpected...

Okay. Let's go for just a minute that the plot of the ending is great. What about the absolutely terrible presentation of said end? You're gonna just let Bioware off the hook for that one, with the simple "Yes there are a few plot holes that need filling, other than that, brilliant." ? Really?
That's like saying, "Damn, Van Gogh, that painting, Starry Night, would have been awesome if you hadn't shat all over it at the end."

A ending that makes sense & does not violate lore would be good as well.
Space Magic & plotholes just doesn't cut it for me.
