i'm about halfway through playing kotor2 which i started years ago and never finished, i keep all my saves for everything. gonna continue that i suppose. it's got the restoration mod installed but i hear the ending is mostly unfinished anyway. i also have da:o on steam, got it cheap but haven't installed yet. probably do that after kotor2.

I have Dark Souls on my shelf that I'm really excited about. How's the ending for that one?

None.
I want to be playing ME3 with a different import character to see a different outcome.
But we all know that's not possible so...

I have gone back, way back to an old school game a game released back in 1992. I found Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Master that can be played on my computer and not need Dosbox. An all time classic imo. Though not the original its pretty much the same. Why? Well like mass effect you make galactic alliances romp though space collecting resources and gathering Precursor Artifacts to save the galaxy. It was why I loved Mass Effect so much because it reminded me of Star Control 2. Back when .... Ok then, this is the old timer in me.... let me put my teeth back in first....... back when content in games mattered. Errr ummmm... ok No need for me to get on a soap box. Star Control 2 is an old time fun run down memory lane for me..

Dragon Age: Origins was the first game I popped in after I finished ME3.
Because, you know.
The ending isn't a disappointment and your choices matter, and you get to see the people you've recruited fight alongside you in the big ending battle.

I have actually started a new play through on Dragon Age: Origins because I want to play a game where your decisions actually matter...I also reserved the Witcher ll the other day. I didn't reserve it before because I believed I'd still be playing Mass Effect by the time it was released on 360, and I wouldn't have the time to commit to it. Boy was I wrong

I'm trying to get platinum on the new silent hill, and maybe i'll grab the new yakuza.
I really feel like playing an over the top zombie brawler. So yeah.

Try Metal Gear Solid 4, the only game I know of that consists of 70% (gorgeoud) cutscenes and 30% gameplay.Shwiggliness wrote...

Playing Mass Effect 2 with an imported character I completed a couple days go. I won't be importing into ME3 or playing ME3 until the face import issue patch is out and when the new ending content is released, however.

After the ending, I haven't plugged my 360 back in. It's been about 2 weeks. I've actually been playing my DS instead. Phoenix Wright and Super Mario 3d Land.

I've been playing a lot of Shadow of the Colossus after beating ME3. Finally getting my money's worth out of that PS3 HD remake. SOTC is how you do a bitter-sweet ending, and do it well.
Will probably turn my attention to finishing up Ico after working through Hard mode on SOTC. Started it a while back but put it down and forget to pick it back up. Having to cart Yorda around is interesting, but then again Team Ico do companions really well. Agro in SOTC is the most competent horse I've ever seen in a videogame, and Yorda isn't a frustration to keep around.

Dragon Age: Origins again. Still a pretty good game, even though it's successor was a huge letdown. Also going around the beta for the new World of Warcraft expansion, while eagerly awaiting for Diablo 3

*Snickers**Snickers* You made me giggle. People whine and complain about releasing a game incomplete and that is exactly what Blizzard is doing. Hello? They had to take out PVP just to be able to release it without having be delayed yet again while releasing that portion of the game later. If that doesn't say rush job I don't know what does. Yeah, no. Blizzard may use the whole delays as an excuse for most games but not when they take whole sections of a game out just to release it for a quick buck.Vigil_N7 wrote...

At least you know a Blizzard game isn't going to be rushed.
Edit: I however do love Starcraft's story alot. Warcraft is just jumbled messed now in terms of plot since it has been milked to a oblivion and back.
Currently replaying multiple playthrough of ME3, yeah I am not going to let the ending wreck my experience of an otherwise great game. (Along with MP) Just started a new DAO through DA2 run to get ready for DA3 since Bioware peeps of Dragon Age (in the forum section) are really listening and taking in responses from the fans. (I believe ME3 has raised the bars for them which is a good thing) Need to beat Halo 1 Aniversary and KOA. Preordered Witcher 2 for 360. Need to actually play Another Century Episode R for PS3. Import Gundam Extreme VS for PS3. List goes on. Other remaining big titles in the year for me are Borderlands 2, Transformers Fall of Cybertron, and Bioshock Infinite.

Wow, I'm the ONLY one in this entire thread who must be playing Dungeon Fighter Online (although I did see a fellow Vindictus player).
I did finally start up another ME3 playthrough but I can't seem to stay with it. Debating on getting Arkham City while I wait to see what ME3 DLC is provided.

Well, immediately after finishing Mass Effect 3, I read the Hunger Games trilogy. Still ended up comparing the endings to eachother because in broad terms they are pretty similar (fantasy/sci fi trilogy with a bittersweet ending). Without getting into spoilers, let's just say that the people who survived to the end weren't necessarily the lucky ones. The "bitters" are very bitter and the "sweets" are very sweet.
The ending was also, needless to say, much more satisfying than the ending to ME3. There was actual closure involved, and while there were some unanswered questions (I haven't really discussed it with other fans of the series: are Snow's final words a matter of debate?) you're left with a pretty clear idea about where everybody ended up. Also, the ending doesn't pull a literal Deus Ex Machina out of nowhere to solve the main conflict of the series. So... you know... points for that.
And then I played Arkham City for a while. Robin is a cold mother****** in that game, not exactly deep analysis, but it's true.
